Buong araw hindi kami naghiwalay ni Rahma. He even talked to Dana himself to excuse me from work and my friend literally went crazy after knowing we're back together. Hindi tuloy ako sigurado kung paano ko pa ba haharapin si Dana nito. Siguradong aasarin ako ng babaing yun.

I think Rahma's family still had no idea about us. We convinced Kuya Bacon to keep it first, sinabi kong kami na ni Rajah ang magsasabi sa kanila. Nakakahiya kasi hindi lingid kina Kuya Eadselle kung paano ako trinato ni Rajah nung nagkita ulit kami. They even fought because Kuya Eadselle really wanted to help me study farming.

Rahma and I just spent our day together surveying the farm, checking the conditions of the chickens and monitoring my financial records. I was quite making a profit. His management was truly superb.

Matapos sa farm, sa bahay kami umuwi para kumain. And again, we ended up on the bed naked and panting. Rajah just couldn't get enough, the jerk missed me. Hindi naman ako umaapela dahil sa totoo lang, gusto ko rin naman ang ginagawa namin.

The late afternoon sun cast long shadows across the bedroom floor. Rahma’s arm was draped across my waist, the warmth of his skin a comforting weight against mine. The lingering intimacy of our lovemaking still clung to the air.

He shifted, his fingers tracing the curve of my hip.

"Baby," he murmured, his voice low and husky, there was a sudden shiver down my spine. "I have something to share with you. Something special."

A smile played on my lips. My eyebrows raised as I traced my index finger on his thick brows, sharp nose, soft lips, and hard jaw.

"Hmm, ano naman yun?"

"It's a journey, a trip." he replied, his gaze meeting mine. "Could you please come with me?"

Ah, this ruthless cowboy is really polite when talking to me. Samantalang alam ko kung gaano siya ka-istrikto kina Franco sa sakahan.

"Where?" I asked, I couldn't deny the excitement in me.

He leaned closer, his breath warm against my ear. "Somewhere important. Somewhere that holds a lot of memories for us. A place where we can reconnect." He paused, searching for the right words, his eyes filled with a mixture of hope and apprehension that mirrored my own. "It's a surprise. I can't tell you where, yet. But I promise you, it'll be special. It's something I've been working on for a while now. Something I really want to share with you."

Somewhere that holds a lot of memories for us? Sugriva? No. It can't be. Matagal nang nawala sa amin ang sakahan kaya hindi na kami makakapunta pa roon. O baka naman sa Birchwood District? Going to that place is possible. Naroon pa sina Lumina, kaso nasa abroad na si Judson. Sa Birchwood District siguro itong tinutukoy ni Rahma.

His hand found mine, his fingers intertwining with mine. "So?"

His gaze held mine. Kahit na hindi ko alam kung saan niya ako dadalhin, meron sa kaloob-looban kong gustong makarating sa lugar na sinasabi niya. It was hesitating, but exhilarating. In that moment, the uncertainty began to fade. I knew I could trust him enough to take this journey with him.

"Okay," I smiled at him.

He grinned and kissed me before tugging me closer for a hug.

"Let's leave early in the morning tomorrow."

Gulat ko siyang nilingon sa likod ko. Rajah only shoved his nose into my neck. "Don't worry, planado ko na lahat, Syntia."

I sighed and let him drown me with his loving kisses. Umalis lang si Rahma nun para kumuha ng mga damit niya sa mansyon. Hindi siya nagtagal, dito na siya ulit natulog sa bahay.
