I sat up against the brick wall of Kalee's house.

"Kalee...I'm bored."

"I'm not. Because bouncing a stupid tennis ball off the side of my house is extremely fun." she replied sarcastically.

What do you want to do?" she groaned.

"I don't know." I groaned. She plopped down beside me.

"Let's think..." I said.

"We could go visit Ally and Gabe at their new foster home." she said.

"We don't know where it is." I responded.

"Oh really?" she said and pulled out a piece of paper from her back pocket. I grabbed it.

"No way. How did you get this?" I asked.

"My mom works for D.S.S. remember." she said.

"But they're not aloud to tell anybody that stuff." I said.

"They can give the location. They just can't give out anyone's birth records. Parents. Accidents that caused them to die or leave the child. Stuff like that." she said. I nodded in understanding. I looked at the address.

"Oh how do we get here. It's 20 minutes out of city limits. It's a Saturday so all of our parents are at work." I said.

"Yeah but Aunt Zazz doesn't work. She doesn't 'do things'." she said.

"She also said she doesn't drive." I reminded. She huffed.

"Okay. How about Quinn's sister?"

"Study hall at the university."

"Brooke?"

"Game day."

"Cameron?"

"Left yesterday."

"Ayla?"

"Went on a September trip to the mountains."

"Negative Nancy." she huffed.

"I think she has something going on today too." I joked.

"Hardee Hardee Har." she fake laughed and I grinned.

"What are we going to do?" I said.

"Get my brother to take us." she said and ran inside

"JOEL!" she called.

"What?" he said.

"Drive me and Bella to a foster home." she said.

"What?"

"You know the place where the kids who don't have any-"

"I know what a foster home is." he said.

"Well can you drive us to one about 30 away?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Why on Earth do you want to go to a foster home?"

"To visit some really awesome kids."

"Okay."
