Speechless (daniel skye)
"Daniel your biology partner for the year is Autumn Grier. Autumn raise your hand." Mrs. Graham said. I looked across the room. A small girl with big framed glasses and long brown hair raised her hand.
"Good Luck." the guy behind me said.
"What? Why?" I asked.
"The girl hasn't said a word since like 5th grade."
"Maybe she just isn't very talkative at school." I said.
"Nah man. Her brothers say she hasn't said anything since she was like 11." he said. I looked across the room at Autumn. She was watching me and the guy talking. She sighed and everybody turned to her in amazement.
"Yo! The girl just breathed. Calm down." I said. She looked at me. I smiled and she didn't smile back and her eyes showed nothing but pure emptiness.
Do you like? Yes? No? Maybe?
