Chapter 5

Lauren's POV
We all sat in drama class listing to the teacher saying something very passionate, he probably got it from tumbler. I sat with Normani since the group of friends all left me since I called them losers. Dinah,Ally and Camila were sitting on the other side of the room I felt bad for pushing her away,letting her know me and then shutting her out. I wanted to apologize but her friends has been blocking me from her. "Now let's see...Lauren come up to the front of the classroom please" My drama teacher told me,I got up and walked to him,he handed me a script. I examined the paper quickly see a word that stood out to me. Kiss. "And let's have... Dinah Jane" I heard him say. Is the fucking world out to get me? Dinah came up next to the teacher on his other side looking at the paper. "Sir I can't kiss her" Dinah told him not caring who heard. "Yeah um I don't know her like that" I said for once siding with her. "Yeah for once I agree with killer girl" Dinah said I couldn't care less what she said at this point. "Now girls its 2015 its for the play and I'll pick up your grades to 100 if you do it" My teacher said having no other option. "Fine but don't you ever speak of this got it" Dinah demanded as she faced me with the script in her hand. "Whenever your ready girls,class pay attention" He said sitting back,looking at us like a piece of art. "If I said this once I'll say it again,you need to leave,get out of this town go and see things most people here won't get to see" I read looking at her. "Yeah but like what if I don't you know like what to" Dinah said not caring making me and most kids laugh. "Okay Dinah how about more energetic or I'll lower your grade,action!" He yelled the last part. Dinah nodded and cleared her throat, "I can't just leave you,you need to come with me don't you see that I don't care about college,about the future, because if I can't have a future with you then what's the point" Dinah said looking up dramatically. " Dinah don't say that, we,us you and I we're just kids who fell in love sure we had the good and bad times but I promise once your out of college I'll still be with you,maybe not physically but in your heart I will be"I said reading the directions to step forward to her,so that's what I did. "But I don't want to leave you,you can't make me" Dinah said I could hear the sound of her voice change it was very enjoyable to see. "I promise our love won't die,when your out of college your still mine and I'm still yours" I said reading the play,its really good I'm really getting into it. "You promise?" Dinah asked looking up and smiled like she was suppose to do,for a second I thought it was just her way of saying 'friends' but then she looking down to her paper. "I promise" I said, the kiss was next and I didn't feel all to worried about it,I looked up to see Dinah in the same state of mind,are you ready? I mouthed out to Dinah as she nodded,we both leaned forward and slowly closed our eyes once I felt Dinah lips on mine I wanted to back out but then I actually liked it. I wanted to shoot myself for even enjoying myself but I liked it. This kiss was moving,it didn't stay still it was lip locking. "Okay girls scenes over" I heard the teacher say but Dinah didn't moved and neither did I. The bell rang which caused us to pull away in shocked. "Why the fuck didn't you move?" Dinah yelled,Ally walked up next to her while Normani walked up to me. "You didn't move either,Dinah fucking Jane likes kissing girls I would have never thought" I said laughing seeing how uncomfortable she was. "Wow jauregui I thought you being gay you would make fun of people,you know what just fucking off" Dinah said storming off. "That wasn't cool Lauren" Normani told me I let out a loud breath,everyone was out already but I think left early,I guess she had to go to the restroom. Normani and I walked to where Dinah was in the library, "I'll be over there when your ready to leave,just apologize" Normani told me leaving to go to the fiction books. I walked over to Dinah who was sitting alone. "Is this seat taken?" I asked hoping Dinah would look up at me,"I would come back with a come back but I'm not in the mold,just sit"Dinah said looking down,Ally walked over but saw how I was making an effort so she gave me a thumbs up and walked away. I took a seat and wondered what I should say to her. "So um your gay?" I asked wanting to kill myself,I'm such I fucking idiot. Dinah laughed and nodded her head. "Well I wouldn't have thought we had something in common,but now we do so... What do you say friends?" I asked feeling really bad for making fun of her. "Friends" Dinah said looking up and smiling. "I'm sorry I said that...I really am" I told her,"Its okay,I had it coming I guess"Dinah said,she really did but not like that. "I'm fucking hungry and Ally has Church,I can't believe I'm saying this but Lauren would you like to eat with me?" Dinah asked laughing from shock that she said it
"Yeah,Normani my friend is with me...um" I said not knowing what to do. "She could come to" Dinah said smiling when Ally and Normani came out talking about us. "Friends?" I asked Ally as she smiled nodded,we all exchanged numbers,we walked Ally to her car and Normani, Dinah and I walk to Dinah's car. We all ate,and I got to say Normani with Dinah is pretty cute. I really wish Camila was here,I really need to apologize to her,and now since I have a chance to I want to take it.
