Ted's POV
I decide to make my presence known at Elizabeth's baby shower. She and Teddy will be revealing what they are having, and I am hoping for another baby boy, although I think that Elizabeth wants a baby girl. I smile as I think of my son, I am amazed every day by the intelligence contained within that little boy. Liam has been a bright ray of sunlight in my life, and I wouldn't trade him for the world.

When I walk into my son's home, I see that the party is in full swing. I am greeted by several friends and family members as I search for Elizabeth. When I find her, I make my way over to her side. She turns and gives me one of her fake smiles which are almost as beautiful as her real smiles. I grin "Elizabeth, where is my son?" She nods towards the stairs "He is upstairs getting Liam dressed." Then she smirks at me "So I'm assuming that you've heard the news." I grit my teeth "The news that your cockroach of a brother is back in town? Yeah, I heard." Elizabeth frowns "Watch your mouth." It is my turn to smirk as I take her in my arms, and hold her in what looks like a loving hug. I press her tightly against me, and I press my fingers into her upper arms as I whisper into her ear "Who's gonna make me?" I feel a hand on my shoulder, and I turn to see Shane McMahon. I release Elizabeth although I keep my arm around her "The prodigal son has returned home at last." Shane smirks "I came home to take care of some business." I can hear the threat hidden under the words, and I glare at him in return "What kind of business?" Shane steps towards me "A bit of a cockroach problem." I take a deep breath as I try to contain my anger "Well I think everyone is glad you have come back home. If you will excuse me, I am going to go find my son." Shane's hand on my arm stops me long enough for him to ask "Which one?" I rip my arm from his grasp "Watch yourself, son. Remember that when you play with fire you get burned."

Shane's POV

When Ted goes up the steps, I look over at Elizabeth to see her visibly shaking. I wrap my arm around her "Calm down. Take deep breaths." She follows my orders and takes three deep breaths. When she stops shaking, I remove my arm from around her. I can see that she is still shaken from her encounter with Ted, and the anger that has been building inside of me only grows. I lead Elizabeth into the kitchen so that I can speak to her privately. I lean against the counter "Elizabeth, you need to tell Ted. Soon." She nods "I know. I've been trying to. It's just that every time I try...I can't. This will kill him, Shane." My heart throbs as I look in her eyes. They are pleading, and I almost give in, but I look away "If he finds out that you kept this from him, it will only be worse. I'm giving you until tonight, Lizzie. If you don't tell him tonight then first thing tomorrow I am telling him." I leave the kitchen, and after a few minutes I see Elizabeth come out. Teddy soon joins her, and they both make their way over to the table in the middle of the room. The table contains the cake and the presents for Teddy and Elizabeth. Everyone soon turns their attention to the happy couple. I look over to see Liam in Ted's arms, and I cant help but feel sick to my stomach. I quickly turn my attention back to my sister and her husband. Elizabeth grins "It's time to open the gifts!" She opens a few boxes and receives baby clothes, a bassinet, and a baby blanket. Then Teddy picks up a large box and sets it on the table "Who is this from?" Elizabeth smiles "There's a card!" Teddy picks up the card, and reads aloud:

Look inside and you will see

The color of the balloons, blue or pink?

The closet is empty, the nursery is bare

Now open this box! There is no time to spare!

Sincerely, the Stork!

I can't help but laugh at the cute poem as I, just like everyone else, eagerly look on as my sister opens the box. All of a sudden several pink balloons burst out of the box, and ascend to the ceiling. Everyone cheers as Elizabeth and Teddy kiss. I can't help but clap along with everyone else as I see the happiness on my sister's face. The only thing keeping me from truly enjoying this moment is the bastard holding my nephew. I decide then and there that I won't wait for my sister to tell Teddy. I will tell him...tonight.
