Spy x Reader

  "So ya like (Y/N), huh?" Engineer and Spy was alone in the living room, talking. Everyone else had left to go blow something else while they stayed behind. It gave them a chance to talk about something that had been on Spy's mind for a while now. Spy nodded.

"She is mon petite chou-fleur. She doesn't know zhis, but I've been trying my best to protect her in battle. Anyone who dares to touch her (H/L) (H/C) hair, gouge her (e/c) eyes, or even attempt to harm her will have to go through me first." He looked down at the ground, where he stared at the carpet design that looped around the entire room. "I love her..."

"Then, maybe ya should tell her how ya feel," Engie said.

"What? That's preposterous! She wouldn't feel zhe same. She has the camper or the others..."

"Ya never know, Spy. She could have the same feelings for you." He placed his hand on Spy's shoulder. "Well, ya should probably get mentally prepared because here she comes!"

"What?!" Spy turned his head to see (Y/N) walking towards where they were.

"Well, good luck, partner!" Engie said, leaving.
"Wait! Laborer! Come ba- he's not coming back, is he? Ugh...merde..." He looked back at (Y/N) who was only a couple of feet away.

"Hey, Spy," she said.

Spy began to blush as he looked at (Y/N). Thankfully, his mask hid any signs of blushing from the outside world. "B-bonjour, mon amie!" He stuttered. "I thought you were with zhe others."
"I didn't go," (Y/N) explained. "I had to look after (P/N *pet name*)."

"Oh. Right. (P/N)..." At this point, it was hard for Spy to look you directly in the eye. Otherwise, he would of been trapped in a spell you unknowingly placed on him.

"So, what were you two talking about before I came here?" You asked. Spy's eyes widened and he began to stutter on his answer.

"W-well, w-we were, uh, um..." You kissed him on the cheek, which surprised Spy so much that he nearly jumped out of his seat.

"Come on, you can tell me!"

"I-I-I-I like you! I've liked you ever since you joined the (RED/BLU) team but I never said anything because I was scared you'd say no!" By the time Spy realized what was spilling out of his mouth it was too late. The two stared at each other in silence for a full minute. Neither of you knew what to say.

"Spy..." You wrapped your arms around Spy and hugged him. "I didn't know you felt the same!"

"Wait...what...?!" You looked at him with a smile on your face.

"Ever since I joined the (RED/BLU) team I liked you. I felt like you were one of the only ones who hadn't lost their sanity and actually cared for me like I was family. The others are okay and all but..." She looked him directly in the eye. "I couldn't stop thinking about you..." Spy placed a finger over your mouth and shushed you.

"Je t'aime, (Y/N)." You smiled.

"Je t'aime aussi, Spy."
