A few minutes later the door opened, seeing a fair older woman. With a face I never forgot. Cause I never can.
~"You are worried about Lord Arveleg." I stated, sitting in front of the female ranger, as we rode back to Rivendell.
"Yes. I suppose it is not hard to see." She replied.
"But you are scared. -Are you his, 'Melamin?'"
She seemed surprised at my question, but answered anyway.
"And he is my, 'Melleth.'"
I smiled.
"When are you to marry him?"
"In the Spring."
"I expect a wedding invitation."
She laughed.
"It would be a joy to have you."
In no time, we made it back to Rivendell. Up ahead I could see Ada, along with Elladan and Elrohir.
(Oh, I am going to be in so much trouble.)
Once we got to the front gates, everyone got off their horses and quickly made their way to my father and brothers. I stayed hidden behind the female ranger.
"Do you fear Lord Elrond, as well?" She asked, whispering.
"I do. He is my father."~
"Lady Lìvian?" She asked.
I smiled.
"I never got my wedding invitation."
She laughed, pulling me into a hug.
"It has been so long, and you've grown."
"And you have not aged in a day."
"Oh, please do not flatter. I am getting old. - Oh, how rude of me, come in."
"Thank you." I said walking in.
"Your brothers are here as well."
(Oh, good I can ring some necks, now.)
"Lovely." I replied.
"Who was at the door, 'Melamin?'" Arveleg voice asked, from another room.
"The one who saved your life, if I'm not mistaking." I replied walking in.
Now seeing Arveleg, and my brothers looking at me.
"Never got a thank you." I continued.
"Ah, sister dear, you made it." Elrohir said standing up, followed by Arveleg and Elladan.
"And right on time." Elladan finished.
"To the little, but no help from you two."
"You are here, on time. I think we did good."
"You could have told me, you were going to leave me."
"Ah, Squirt, but that's not how it works."
"How what works?"
"You're in the middle of a test." Arveleg replied. "And thank you, again."
"You are welcome, now what test?"
"That's a secret." Elladan and Elrohir replied.
"Alright you two know the real reason I'm here."
