~"I'm never going to dance again. The way I danced with you."~

~~~
"And now for the first dance."
Usually, the first dance when coming of age is; if you are an Ellon, it is with your Mother, and if you are an Elleth, you dance with your Father.
But, Legolas chose the next best Elleth to dance with.
A smile crossed my face as Legolas held Eleaíns' hand, walking into the center of the rooms floor.
I stood on the platform, along with the other musicians. The music started to play, the same time they started to dance, I then started to sing.
"I hope you never lose your sense of wonder.
And yet you fill to eat, but keep that hunger.
My you never take one single breath for granted.
-Valar forbid love ever leave you empty handed.
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean.
When ever one door closes I hope one more opens.
Promise me that you'll give faith the fighting chance.
And when give the choice, to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance. I hope you dance."
"Living might mean taking chances, but they're worth taking.
Lovin' might be a mistake, but it's worth making.
Don't let some hell bent heart leave you bitter.
If you come close to selling out reconsider.
Give the heavens above, more than just a passing glance.
And when give the choice to sit it out or dance.
I hope you dance. I hope you dance."
I did one last song, picking up the violin, I watched Legolas pick another Elleth. She had red hair, and green eyes, younger than him, maybe even younger than me.
~~~~

"You look lovely." I heard Legolas say coming up behind me, a glass of wine in hand.

(Three more years.)

He wore pale green and blue colored robes. They are the colors of Spring, in our culture.

"Thank you. I see you started dancing with a few 'Elleths.'"

"Yes, though I wish my second dance was with you."

"Forgive me. Someone had to play the  violin. Or there would have been no dance."

"I appreciate that. You play and sing very well."

"Thank you. Who was the redhead 'Elleth' you danced with?"

"Is this jealousy I hear?"

I smiled rolling my eyes.

"Yes, I would be jealous of drunk female elves, dancing with you."

"Just so you know she was not drunk. She's a year younger than me. Her name is Tauriel."

(I see. Off to a great start, Lìvia.)
