I won't forgive them for this!

Eunji POV 

I was washing the plates, but it slipped out of my hands and the glass shattered on the ground. I sighed to myself for being clumsy and clear the shattered pieces of glass but accidentally cut my fingers.

I had a bad feeling and pray that nothing happened to my father.

I was watching TV when the news said something that shocked me as well as my mother.

I was holding a vase of my father's ashes. That night, I dream of my father he said he was sorry he had to leave me and mom behind.

I woke up sweating and felt thirsty. I went to the kitchen to drink when I felt dad's presence.

"Dad?" I called out but it was a cold silence.

I went back to my room and cried myself to sleep.

"Dad... I missed you. I'm sorry I couldn't protect you." I said caressing his picture on my phone.

The next day

I went to the shrine with my mother and uncle daemin.

My mother cried so hard that she fainted.

I hugged her and cried in her embrace.

I will never forget this day.

I will find out who killed my father. I won't forgive them.
