Haha, this was the most requested (No idea why, someone tell me why pleasee) but without further ado, I present to you...

Daniel:

"Whoa," I breathed out in awe at the amazing sight before me.

After boarding a plane to Beijing, China, I had then taken another flight to Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province. And after another long, ardous journey, here I was, at my destination.

Tianzi Mountains. And wow, were they a sight to behold.

My eyes wide, I let out a low whistle. However, I was broken out of my reverie when the sound of loud chattering drew near to me.

Turning my head, I saw a group of excited tourists, holding maps and cameras, talking away loudly and animatedly, some snapping pictures of the scenery. A tour guide then proceeded to usher them along to the route he had planned for them and slowly, the noise they brought with them disappeared and I was left in peaceful silence again.

I couldn't help but feel slightly annoyed. Sure, tourists were an important part of every economy system, but they should know when to appreciate nature once in a while.

I swear, if I wasn't a Life Elemental, I'd probably be a Nature one.

"Ah, there you are," I heard a familiar voice behind me and I turned around to see Fayre standing there.

"I suppose you had a long flight," She said, with a sympathetic and gentle smile on her face. "Nonetheless, the training must proceed."

I inwardly groaned. Fayre grinned again knowingly. Crap, I forgot she could read minds.

"Indeed, I can. And soon, you'll be able to do so as well. Come." She moved forward and waved at me, signaling me to follow her.

We moved away in the opposite direction of where the popular tourists spots where, into a more secluded part of the nature reserve. We then started moving through the thick vegetation.

"So," I finally spoke up. "What training will there be?"

Fayre merely smiled again and continued on her trek in front of me. "You'll see."

I raised any eyebrow at her vague answer but kept walking on regardless.

When suddenly, she stopped in her tracks. Automatically, I froze too, wondering what was wrong.

Fayre then put her hand up. "Listen."

I complied and opened my ears for any weird sounds.

"Do you hear anything?" She questioned, turning back to look at me.

"No, not particularly." I replied, tilting my head in concentration.

Fayre shook her head in response. "Listen closer, Daniel." With those three words, she showed me her back once again and started walking again.

I couldn't help but let a frown touch my lips. Listen closer? For what?

I toyed with the confusion I felt in my mind as I resumed walking as well. And I knew that without a doubt, Fayre was reading -and probably laughing at- my puzzled thoughts.

After what felt like forever, we emerged in a small clearing where the tall mountains rose up from the ground around us, their peaks hidden away by the clouds above.

"Right," Fayre glanced at me then at the mountain in front of us. "Climb."

"Wait, excuse me?" I gaped at her in surprise.
