Meow...

She quickly turned around. But all she saw was an empty corridor. There was nothing but herself. Turning away, she continued walking slowly.

Meow...
She couldn't help but get distracted by the sound.
She walked around until she stopped in front of an old palace building. She looked at the facade of the building. An old traditional paper door separated the chambers from the corridor. She walked towards it and reached out her hand, about to push the door open.

"Who are you?"
The sudden voice startled her. She turned to see a figure stood in the shadow.

"What are you doing here?" The figure walked towards her, revealing an old granny dressed in old traditional hanbok. Her hair was tied into a bun that is fastened together by a Binyeo, a Korean traditional hairpin.

"I...I got lost and was lead here by a meowing sound." She stuttered. Her voice came off tenser than she expected.

The granny walked up to her closed, examining her.

"Agassi."
"Agassi?" She took a step back, feeling uncomfortable by the closeness.
"Hurry up and leave, Agassi. This is not a place you want to be!" The granny warned her.
She stared at her.

"Hurry up and leave!" The granny snapped before she walked away.

What does she meant by that?
She looked at the granny as she disappeared around the corner. The old granny gave off the eerie feeling and the thought of the conversation sent shivers down her spine.
What's wrong with me? Why am I being scared of nothing?

"Joy!" Her name was called.
She jumped, startled by the sudden voice again. She quickly turned and was relieved to see that it's the Assistant Director, Joon, walking towards her.
"What are you doing here?" Joon asked.

"Just walking around." She shrugged and smiled, keeping the full details away intentionally. "By the way, is that old granny one of the casts for this drama too? I don't know why, but I got an eerie feeling about her."

"If you  are planning to film a horror movie for your next project, maybe you can consider casting her again." Joy added.

"What old granny?"
"Didn't you see an old granny walking off just now? She walked off in the same direction as where you came from."

The Assistant Director tilted his head slightly to the right, showing signs that he is clueless. "I didn't see anyone while I was looking for you." But he spared a moment for his thoughts.

"Wait. This can't be. " He said, disbelieving what he just heard.

"What can't be?"

Joon took a look at Joy as if checking out to see if she could accept what he is going to say next. "There used to be people saying that there is an old granny who lived in the palace. She used to be a palace lady." He paused before continuing.

Joy nodded. Ah, that granny must have missed this palace so much after the royals vacate this palace a few decades back.

"And she is from Joseon dynasty, around King Sukjong's reign," Joon continued. "Which means, by right, she should be from the other world now. So, the granny you saw..."

Joy widened her eyes and gasped. At first, she thought that the old granny was a palace lady from the last generation of the Joseon Dynasty, Emperor Sunjong's reign. But no, it's from King Sukjong's reign-- which is 300 years ago!
There is no need for Joon to tell her what exactly she saw. She knew, but the answer is unbelievable.

"Maybe you saw wrongly." Joon tried to assure Joy. "Break is going to be over. Let's hurry up and leave."

Hurry up and leave.
Joy can't help but shivered. That was what the old granny said before she left.
