I was sitting in the janitors closet, by the floor when I heard a knock I quickly opened and saw Alice and Gabriel both standing there with sad smiles plastered in their beautiful faces

"What's wrong?" Gabriel asked

The janitor's closet had always been our... safe haven ever since freshmen year when Chuck Dalton called Gabriel a faggot in the middle of the cafeteria days after he came out, then during sophomore year when Alice heard Summer Sutton call her a drama queen for bursting into tears when she found out that Beta Jordan was going out with Hail Anderson, I used this back in sophomore year when Francine Wade not so accidentally broke my glasses and now...

Gabriel wove his fingers through his perfectly styled golden blonde hair, brown eyes wide with shock as I told them what happened

"Oh..." Alice said softly

"Yeah...oh" I say holding back my tears by closing my eyes

We stayed there until the end of the day talking about things that are so meaningless their almost funny

"You remember red thongnado right?" Gabriel was saying pertaining to the pretty sophomore who wears short skirts and twirls a lot giving everyone a view of her red thongs hence the name

I laughed while Alice rolled clutching her stomach while laughing the next thing we know it was the end of the day and we had to get out...at some point

I was about to open the door of Alice's car after bidding Gabriel good bye when I felt his presence behind me I froze

"I'll give her a ride home." his deep voice says making me shiver Alice tilted her head and looked at me before shaking her head

"No need Alpha I can take her" She says politely

I made no move to turn around "I wasn't asking" he says grabbing my wrist sparks shooting from where our skins touch we stopped in front of a sleek black car

he entered the car and i guess he expected me go inside as well so I held me breath...here goes nothing

i opened the door and sat on the front seat he ran his fingers through his hair making it messier than it already is

in this close space his scent engulfed me it was a mix of woodsy mint power and man my hands shook and my lips quivered

"Put your seatbelt on I won't do it for you" he says in a cold tone before driving I complied snapping the seatbelt across my chest

I stared at him as he stared ahead his beautiful face bare of expression his hands tensed on the steerkng wheel the sleeve of his shirt ridding up giving me a perfect view of his bisceps...i gulped

"Stop staring" he says without looking at me I turned my eyes to my side of the window "I'm not staring" I mumbled

The car stopped in front of my house and i made a move to get out when...

"Don't tell anyone" he says I looked at him but he was still looking ahead "I already told A-" I started

"Alice Fray and Gabriel Marcus I know not a word to anyone else" he says his voice icy

"Why?" I asked hurt lacing my voice he snapped his gaze on me for the second time and I felt wightless again

His dark blue eyes gleamed and he raised his eyebrow "Are you asking me to explain myself to you?" he says without humor

I bit my lip and shook my head "Bye" I smiled slightly before running to my house thinking...

That was one hell of a ride...literally
