Raven set his tray down the table with a loud clang Hail looked up at him her eyebrows raised "Raven?" She asked her eyes flickering at Jenna's red cheeks for a moment
"Yeah" Ryder said with wink he motioned for me to sit between him and Hail so..I did
"Hey..ambe..ash?" James said uncertainly and I just smiled back "You're jenna's mate" Gamma cameron said leaning his arms in the table his eyes on Raven
It wasn't a question so Raven didn't say anything he just stared at Jenna's shoulder that's touching Alpha Xavier's arm, Alpha Xavier had a this cold demeanor as he stared down at Ryder
"You're living with him?" Hail asked me her voice matched one of disbelief I opened my mouth and closed it again my voice failing me
"She is" Alpha Xavier answered in a bored tone and Jenna smiled at me apologetically "It's complicated" she said giving hail a warning look that says to words: Shut.Up.
"James.Cameron." hail said "We have to go remember?" Hail said standing up and smilling, james stood up, but Gamma Cameron looked confused, "No,we don't" he said
"Yes.we.do" hail said in a stern voice and drag the boys out of the cafeteria, leaving me,Jenna,Raven and Alpha Xavier all in one table.
Gosh darn it. Ain't this awkward? I thought silently as a blanket of silence covered us
"So...ash" Jenna turned her eyes to me "Where's your friend Michael?" she asked
"Who's michael?" I asked my eyebrows pulled together "She means Gabriel Marcus" Alpha Xavier said his blue eyes flickering to mine, my heart skipped a beat
"I'm terrible with names" she exclaimed with a slight laugh punching Alpha Xavier's chest...i wanted to punch her face
"Sick" I said describing what I'm feeling more than what Gabriel's current situation is "He's sick" I said my eyes at the intertwined hands of Jenna and Alpha Xavier
I looked at Raven and saw his eyes at their hands as well he looked so mad I thought the vein on his neck is gonna pop "Raven" I called to him before he do something stupid
"How's your day so far?" I asked repeating my question earlier he turned to me his eyes dark and mad "Shitier than ever" he said mocking a cheery tone
"How about yours?" He asked me sarcastically "You said it all" I answered before clearing my throat
I looked at Jenna who was pale and red at the same time "Yours?" Raven asked her with a smirk Jenna licked her lips "It's okay" she answered her hands gripping Alpha Xavier's hand tighter
I tried to swallow the bitterness that filled my mouth "What about yours?" I asked with a smile forcing myself to look at his deep blue eyes rather than their hands "Ecstatic" he said in a cold tone that sent goosebumps all over my arms
Alpha Xavier shook his head and stood up, Jenna did too and together they walked out of the cafeteria "They look good together" Raven said bitterly as we watch them walk away
"They're made for each other" I said still starring at their walking figures "Like jigsaw puzzles" he said sarcastically as they dissapeared from our line of sight
"Like peanut butter and jelly" I said Raven turned to me "Seriously that's the best you've got?" He asked me with a laugh
"You've got something better?" I challenged him he opened his mouth and closed it again before shaking his head "This is stupid" he said before standing up and walking towards the same direction Alpha Xavier and Jenna took
I hurriedly followed walking behind him "Ow" I whispered my face slamming at his back when he suddenly stopped walking
I looked at what his starring at and I felt my jaw drop Jenna against the lockers while Alpha Xavier savour her mouth fiercely
I was about to turn and walk away when Raven lunged grabbing Alpha Xavier's shoulders pulling him off jenna
Jenna looked surprise and Alpha Xavier looked at him coldly and raised his eyebrow as if to say: what exactly do you think your doing?
When Raven didn't do anything Alpha Xavier smirked and started to walk away jenna following closely behind him once they were out of sight
"FUCK" He cursed loudly flinging his fist at the locker denting it, he did it again and again until his fist started to bleed so I grabbed his arm "Hey that's enough" I told him he stopped and breathed deeply
I looked at his sullen eyes and said "I think its time for you to see the room of crisis"
"This is the room of crisis?" He asked looking around the janitor's closet unimpressed "Its gloomy" he said brushing dust out of his hair
"Crisis is gloomy so it kind of sets the mood" I said shutting the door, sitting at the floor in the corner
He looked quizical but then he shrugged and slipped down beside me he picked at the handkerchief I gave him that he wrapped around his bleeding fist
"I thought that the day I found out that she's my mate is the happiest day of my life" he said "When did you found out?" I asked "My birthday" he answered "Last week, i invited them over the three of us hanging out just like when we were kids, and then I found out"
"You know what she did?" He asked me scoffing "She ran. She ran so fast and I just stood there and Xavier ran after her and then I went to her house that night and she told me she loved him" he continued
"She-" before Raven could finish his sentence the door opened and hail entered a foot in dragging James Lint by the hands she stopped when she realized that we are there
She raised her eyebrows "Sorry" she said a slight knowing smirk in her lips before she retreated and shut the door behind her
"Do you think that she thinks that we are doing something we are not doing?" I asked my eyes at the door
"Yup" he said with a shrug my face reddened "Ew" I said cringing he laughed "Ew is right" he said
"Maybe we should get back to class" I suggested "Nope...let's just stay" he said "But I told him that I won't cut classes anymore" I explained
He scoffed "Do you think he even cares?" He said, I felt like I was slapped "No.." I said softly
Raven took a deep breath "I'm sorry that came out harsh" he said, I nodded "It's no big deal" I said
"It is a big deal..having mates used to be a big deal" he exclaimed and i looked at him "Yeah...it used to" I say before continuing "Now having mates is just a pain in the butt"
"And fist" Raven added grimacing as he try to flex his hand
