Chapter 68- wish

"Happy birthday Ash!" Al and Gabe greeted simultaneously they have a mini cup cake in their hands with 2 candles in it I smiled and closed my eyes to wish before blowing the candle

"Thanks you guys" I said I looked at everyone even James Lint and Hail are here at Raven's place

After Alpha Xavier and Jenna left Al and Gabe came together with the others

After a couple of minutes of talking the doorbell rang I hastily stood up to get it and my eyes widened

"Let's get ready to party!" A buff guy that I do not know screamed and after which maybe about 50 people ran like crazy idiots inside the house

"Is this part of your surprise?" I whispered to Raven "Um..no not really" he said nonchalantly

"You are not going to do anything about this?" I asked seeing a couple of girls dancing in the living room

"By some beer?" Raven asked uncertainly grabbing his car keys I looked at him startled "Birthday girl!" A football player shouted running towards me I instantly hid behind Raven who stopped the guy by putting his hand on the guy's chest

"Easy there" Raven said the guy laughed and hugged Raven instead

"I'll go with you" I said dragging Raven outside of the house

Rave and I went to the convenience store where he bought beer and couple of chips when we got back it was a mess

There was probably 150 people or more all going crazy on the dance floor

"Booze everybody!" Raven shouted handing people who screamed booze back beer after beer

The lights who ever put it there was blinking from red to green to blue the floor was vibrating with music and I think that Gabriel's already drunk

"Big party" Jordan said from behind me "You did all this?" I half screamed half asked he smiled "It's your birthday course I'll throw a big party" he said dragging me to the dance floor

Jordan laced my hands around his neck and we started to dance I felt a bit confused "Are you okay?" I asked him while we swayed

He shook his head "I think I'm inlove with your friend ash" he said

I smiled and squealed "I'm so happy!" I said hugging him "Tell her" I told him he smiled "I want it to be special but I will tell her I just wanted you to know" he whispered I smiled at him and hugged him one more time

"Take care of her will you" I said before pushing Alice towards him

"You didn't tell me that you were throwing a party" Alpha Xavier said from behind me I jumped in surprise before smilling and looking towards the dance floor where Gabe was dancing like a monkey

"I didn't know" I said with a smile

"Hey Ash happy birthday" Jenna said looking pretty and relaxed I nodded "Thank you" I said my eyes flickered to Alpha Xavier's before lowering it back to the floor

I excused myself and immediately ran to my room which was a very bad idea after seeing a couple in the middle of doing something on my bed

"That was traumatic" Raven said I quickly rubbed my blushing cheeks and joined him in leaning against the wall

"Hey its your party you should go out there and go crazy" he said

I laughed "No thank you, it's not really my scene" I said shaking my head

"Ash," Raven said his tone a bit serious

"Yeah?" I asked looking at him

"You're my favorite person" he said I smiled "You're my favorite person too" I told him

"Excuse me" it was Jenna "can I borrow Raven for a while" she asked looking between us I nodded while Raven stiffened

I gave him a reassuring smile before slipping out of the hall towards the living room

I never thought that so much people could fit in such limited space bodies were moving sensually with the beat, the scent of sweat and beer all over the place

I moved towards the bodies holding my breath until I reached the front yard

I breathed in relief as fresh air engulfed me "Not a big fan of parties?" Alpha Xavier asked

I shook my head "Nope" I answered trying not to look at him

"So, Jenna and I talked" he started I held my breath expecting the worst "we agreed to try this mate bond thing, to stay apart for the time being and give our real mates a chance" he said

I looked at him my eyes wide "Are you sure?" I asked he smiled and nodded

"First thing tomorrow you'd move back to my house and we'd try to make this work" he said before walking back towards th door but before he left

"By the way, happy birthday love" he said giving me a fake salute and with that he was back in the body packed living room

A chance, to make this work, that wasn't exactly what I wished for but that would have to make do.
