Chapter15- Sweet and Sour

"Hey gabe" I said as I walked out of detention chewing the gum Roxy gave me loudly "Wow...chewing gum in school, detention changed you" he said mocking surprise

I shrugged "Well what can I say I'm badass" I said grinning he laughed and punched my shoulder "What happened to the door?" Gabe asked looking at its woody remains

"Alpha Xavier broke it" I said kn an informative voice "Why?" He asked his eyebrows rising "Punching a door open seems way cooled than picking it" I said nodding my head

Gabe scoffed as we went into the car he drove me to Alpha Xavier's house and said that I should call Alice and "beat" some sense to her

I just nodded my head knowing Alice well enough to know that Alice is just not the "beat" sense into kind of girl

So as I skipped to the front door I stopped when I heard hushed whispered "Jenna" I heard Alpha Xavier called I froze

I can't go in there I can't bear it so I sat on the last step letting my sneakers scrape into the dirt back and fort "Stop biting" I yelled at the moquito whilst slapping my arm

Night has fallen and I'm still in the last step sitting glumly as mosquitos feast all over my arm and neck

"Is anyone there?" Jenna asked opening the door slightly I blew hair away from my face "No" I answered like an idiot

"Ash?" She asked with that priss voice of hers "What are you doing there?Come on and join us for dinner" she said

I rolled my eyes locking my jaw and relucantly stood up she smiled up at me "I cooked up some sweet amd sour fish" she explained

I gave her a weak smile "We'll need another plate" Jenna told Alpha Xavier who was setting the table he looked up at me and glowered

"Where were you?" He asked in that demanding tone of his "Outside on the stairs" I answered making my voice upbeat he sighed befpre shaking his head

Great now he thinks I'm a hopeless freak I silently thought I slipped into the seat right infront of him while Jenna sat on his right

I took a bite on that fish and immedietly wanted to cry why did it have taste so amazing? why does she have to be so good at everything? Why does she have to be so pretty? So smart?

"Is it good?" She asked me hopefully smiling pleasantly which made me want to cry harder

Why does she have to be so nice to me? Why can't she be one of those mean girls so that I'll actually have a reason to hate her except from the fact the the one I love loves her? Why does she have to be so freaking perfect?

But I didn't cry instead I smiled and breathed out "Yes" before adding "it's perfect"

So I stood up and grabbed my plate "Is there something wrong?" She asked and I shook my head "No....I'll just eat in my room wouldn't want to disturb you two" I say

I ate up in my room while crying and when I heard Alpha Xavier's car start probably to send Jenna home I snuck into the kitchen and helped my self with a second serving...ok it was three...and a half serving but so what? If she can have my mate I can atleast have the food right?

I grabbed the remote and watched cartoon network when I heard Alpha Xavier's car stopped in the drive way I quickly switched it into netflix so he won't think that I'm such a baby

I looked up at him"Want to watch a movie?" I asked him hopefully "No" he grunted before he looked at the screen and smirked "some movie" he said while chuckling

I looked at the screen and my eyes widened when i saw two people...making love against the wall I quickly switched of the television and looked up at him

"I wasn't watching that movie" I said looking at him directly in the eye he shook his head heading up the staire case "right" he said sarcasfically

"Honest! I was watching cartoon network" I screamed and waited for a reply the only reply I got was tbe sound of the door banging shut

"That was us having a moment" I reassured myself and plopped back on the couch sitting at the remote accidentaly turning the t.v back on

The scene was not yet over so I fumbled for the remote and tried to shut it off accidentally maxing the volume "Oh for pete's sake" I grumbled grabbing the plug and pulling it until it fell off the socket

The TV immedietly shut uped and I went to my bed and tried to sleep the key word is tried
