 Vega POV:

Wulf looked seriously upset.

And that was saying something, he was always so calm and collected.

I dont understand it, I mean he knew I wasn't a virgin and that didn't really bother him, at all. Not as long as it was just him I was sleeping with.

He wasn't even this upset when I was practically dry humping his friend.

"Wulf...?"

He didn't respond.

I bit my lip, fidgeting a bit.

I didn't like this Wulf, the quiet obviously angry Wulf. Normally mad Wulf would give that creepy smile, tell me I was ruining someone's life, make completely terrifying 'jokes', Or kidnap me.

Hell I even preferred yelling Wulf over this.

I reached out, placing a hand on his upper arm.

He pulled away.

My heart sank, wulf never pulls away from me. Ever.

Stupidly hoping for a different result, I tried again. "Beowulf?"

He didn't even let me get close to touching him. "Don't. not now, don't touch me, don't Beowulf me now."

I felt tears spring to my eyes and my lower lips quiver a bit.

It always did when I was about to cry, I hated it.

He was mad at me. He's never been mad at me before.

Even when it was actually my fault he just smiled at me and nuzzled into my neck after flipping on someone else like the psycho he is.

I wasn't used to him being mad at me, much less avoiding my touch.

I opened my mouth to say something but I was too scared I would start crying.

I didn't like crying and I knew he wouldn't be in the mood to deal with it.

"Don't look at me like that Vega."

My brows furrowed, I forced myself to speak.

It wasn't much more than a whisper but I spoke without bursting into tears, "like what?"

"Like I just kicked your puppy, cut off your ice cream supply, killed everyone who knows how to make good nachos, and shaved your head."

I blinked.

He looked at me from the corner of his eye, his shaggy blonde hair curling against the breeze, "you look like your going to cry. Don't look at me like you're going to cry."

Oh.

I looked at the ground.

He sighed, "great thats even fucking worse."

I blinked aways my tears. Well I tried.

A few escaped.

But maybe he didn't see.

Another heavy sigh. Fingers in my hair and an arm around my waist.

Wulf pulled me against him. "damn it don't do that I don't know what to do when you do that."

My fingers curled into his shirt as the scent of gunpowder, mint, and freshly cut grass enveloped me. I buried my face into his neck, "I'm sorry."

"Don't apologize."
