I walked into the BAU my heels made that familiar clack against the marble floor.

every other day of the week going into work doesn't bother me. I guess I'm still a little disturbed as to what happened to me.

"agent chapman, you aren't supposed to be here." Lindsay the lady at the front desk said shocked.

"I'm just fine, thank you though. I'm just here to do my job." I gave her a small smile.

I walked into my office and say my things down.

I sat in my rolly chair and put my hands in my hair looking at the files on my desk.

a knock on my door caused me to whip my head around.

"hey," Ethan said.

"hi." I turned back around.

he took the normal seat on my desk and started asking questions.

"I thought you weren't supposed to be back until next week." he stared at me snapping his gum.

"I'm fine, can we just go to the conference room please. I want to get a case started." I grabbed the file on my desk.

I walked into the conference room and everyone stared.

"chapman, you're not supposed to be back until next week." Cameron said.

"I'm fine. can you please just start this." I breathed.

Cameron furrowed an eyebrow at Ethan and Ethan just shrugged.

"New York city has a killer that's killing in the middle of the day in the most common places." Nate said.

"why has no one tried to go after him?" I asked.

"apparently people just get scared and run away." Nate shrugged.

"were we invited on this case?" I asked.

"yes." Ethan chimed in.

"wheels up in thirty." Cameron said.

everyone was dismissed out of the room.

"adyel," Grayson said coming over to me.

"yeah?" I asked.

"you're of your game today. what's going on?" he asked.

"it's nothing, I guess I'm just still a little disturbed because of what happened." I admitted.

"you can tell me, adyel. I'm here for you." he said softly.

"I was kidnapped, I could have died, Grayson. if you guys weren't there I don't know what would have happened." I teared up.

"well you're alive. if you need to take time off no ones gonna blame you for it."

"thanks but this team needs me." I said getting up and going to our private jet.

*SKIP THE PLANE RIDE*

"ah, agent Dallas. so nice to see you. thank you for coming on such a short notice." the British women said.

"is it just me or does agent Warner look like Cameron's ex wife." Ethan whispered.

Cameron and his wife are going through a divorce right now. she filed the divorce because he was never home. his son rarely gets to see him.

(aye aaron hotchner)

"thank you, agent Warner. these are SSA's Chapman, Dolan, Dail, Garner, Dolan, and Carpenter." he introduced us.

"great, I'll get you guys somewhere to set up. Agent dail you can go with Garcia. she's a police woman, she'll help you with the cameras and computers." she smiled.

(coincidence, I think not)

"cool, thanks." jack said walking with the police women.

"so what are we dealing with?" I asked sitting down.

"many people are getting shot in the middle of the day, out in public." agent Warner said in her British accent.

jack came running into the conference room.

"another person was just shot in a subway." he breathed hard.

"let's go," I got up.

we arrived at the scene and there was a card laying by the dead body.

I picked it up and realized it was a death card.

I huffed.

"there's gonna be another killing." I said putting the little card into the bag.

"when?" agent kate Warner asked.

"soon." I got back into the SUV.

we got back to the conference room and we started to get people split up into groups.

I called jack.

"yo hoes, talk to me." he answered.

"I need cameras at every place downtown." I commanded.

"got em, hot stuff." he answered quickly.

"give me the addresses, life saver."

he gave us the addresses and we spilt up.

I was with Agent Cooper.

we went to the subway & stood there waiting for something to happen.

"so, agent chapman. do you have a boyfriend." he laughed.

"I do not, agent cooper. but you're a married man." I laughed.

"how'd you know?" he cocked an eyebrow.

"I'm a profiler. you have 3 kids. even though your wife and you don't get along as well as you'd like, you'd do nothing to hurt her." I pointed a finger. it reminded me of when I met Ethan.

"you're good." he laughed.

I heard a shot and we ran up the subway stairs.

I saw the guy running and we chased after him.

he ran into an alley and fired shots at Cooper.

he landed on the ground. then I shot at the guy making him fall.

"Cooper don't move, you're gonna be okay."

"JACK I HAVE A MAN DOWN AT 52 AND SUBWAY AVENUE." I yelled into my phone.

"JACK!" I yelled.

"alright! alright! I'm sending help!" he answered.

"stay awake cooper, stay awake." I held onto him.

"chapman," he croaked.

"talk to me."

"the guy," he pointed

"he isn't dead." he pointed behind me.

the man fired shots and I shot back making him fall dead.
