Laurance

I woke up to the bright glowing sun shining on my face.

I realized it was late morning, and Garroth and Dante are probably awake by now.

I pulled back my green covers, and went downstairs for breakfast.

Surprisingly, I only saw Garroth. Still in his Pj's.

"Morning Garroth. Is Dante up yet?" I said sleepily.

"No."

He looked deep in thought.

Maybe he was thinking about the trauma of the play? Or our...little moment?

"...you alright? You look like your concerned about something."

"...I had a dream.

A weird dream."

"What was it about?"

"I don't know. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

But, I think it's about my relationship with Aphmau, and my relationship with you."

"Okay, tell me what you dreamt about."

"Okay, so it started off wi-"

I heard a door slam and feet shuffling around the floor.

I knew Dante was up, and I don't think Garroth would be comfortable telling his dream with him around.

"Uh, Garroth? Hold that thought for later."

"Yeah..." He nodded.

"Good Morning guys!" Dante yawned.
"So what's for breakfast Laurance?"

"Huh? Me?"

"Uh, yeah you. Greatest chef ever?"

"Oh yeah! Right..."

I was so intrigued by what Garroth's dream was about I forgot I'm actually a good cook.

Pull it together, Laurance.

"Well, what do you want me to make?"

"Toast. French toast!! You're french toast is good." Dante said while drooling with wide eyes.

"Sounds good to me," Garroth agreed.

Okay, starting the day off with a nice breakfast.

Garroth

I munched on Laurance's...delicious...french toast as I thought of my dream and when I can tell him.

I want to let it out, let it all out. To at least one person.

A person that's always there for me.

The person, Laurance.

I don't even have the guts to tell Aphmau.

Besides, she's probably still laughing her butt off from yesterday.

And like she'll listen to me.

She's not even interested in me, so why even bother telling her a dream about me and her?

Laurance would understand.

Hopefully.

Laurance

"Garroth, come meet me in my room for a sec. I have to...show you something."

Hopefully Garroth took the hint that I actually wanted to talk.

"Oh...you mean that...game you were having trouble c-completing?"

"Uh, yeah!"

I think Dante took it, because he just shrugged, put his plate in the sink, and sat on the couch to watch some TV.

Garroth got out of his seat and put his plate in the sink, I did the same.

He followed me as we shuffled to my room.

I closed the door behind us and locked it.

I'm not taking any chances.

"Okay Garroth, tell me what happened."

Laurance
(Time skip to after Garroth explained everything, don't feel like explaining the dream all over again.)

I was stunned, as I too started to think about the meaning of the dream.

"Garroth, why do you think the dream has a meaning?"

"You heard it!! It had familiar people, voices, and it was long! I could feel it, there is a meaning!"

"Okay, well, we know for sure that it had me and Aphmau, as you had said. The girl is Aphmau and the boy is me."

"Yes, and then you were fighting over me like tug-of-war."

"That's the thing. Why are we fighting over you? What are we fighting you for?"

"C'mon Laurance, I know you know. It's okay."

He's right. I know. We're playing tug-of-war over Garroth because we both want his love.

Aphmau wants his love?

Pf, she's already with Aaron.

"But...Aphmau loves Aaron!" I protested to Garroth.

"I know that. She loves him, but I think she still has left over feelings for ...m-me." He tried not to emphasize "me", I know he was trying to make me feel better.

It kind of did, since he actually cares for what I think.

I was never the bragging type anyway...

"Yeah...that's what I think." I responded quietly.

"So far, we know Aphmau and you are fighting over my love."

"Uh huh...now we should try figuring out what the backgrounds mean."
