(Short but sweet, just like me!... Not really, I'm basically the Flowey of this world (without the killing))

Why is Winter so cold? The snow may be pretty when it first comes, but in the end you just end up sick of it because it's freezing and turns into slush on the road from the rain and cars. The skies would look beautiful to start with, it's crystal white appearance entrancing you, but soon enough you start wishing for the ocean sky back. The amazing ice sculptures you might see look great when they're there, but they turn into wet puddles on the floor after a while. Depressing, wet puddles.

Jack was currently out in the cold weather, wrapped up in his thick coat and fluffy scarf, hands stuffed in his pockets and glasses steamed up from his hot breath against the cold lenses. He was walking around LA, shivering violently as the soft snow flakes fell into his green hair. He loved and hated this weather, but mainly hated it at the moment. If only he was inside, playing video games with a hot cup of coffee, then he'd love Winter.

"Jack!" He spun around as he heard his name from behind him. He searched the streets, looking for whoever called for him, only to see snow and houses. He furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, eyes darting around for the stranger. He suddenly saw a man, at his door, waving his arm at him with a smile. He couldn't help but grin back. "C'mon, it's freezing. Get over here!" The man shouted again, and Jack turned and walked over to him.

"It's not that cold." He told the slightly taller man when he got there, taking his glasses off and cleaning them so he could see at least a little, the snow was making it hard enough. He put them back on and saw the American smiling like an idiot, who immediately stopped when he saw Jack looking at him. "Aww. were you staring? Marky has a cruuuush!"

"Shut up, no I don't." Mark grumbled, crossing his bare arms over his chest. "Anyway, you're shivering, of course it's that cold. Get in here before you freeze." He grabbed Jack's arm and dragged him inside, making sure to purposely make him trip over the doorstep, chuckling when he did. The boy mumbled a few swears at him, hitting his arm.

"You know, I have my own house." Jack mentioned after he took off his scarf, raising an eyebrow at his red haired friend, who was holding a cup of hot chocolate out in front of him for the Irishman to take. He took it with a kind smile, thanking him and taking a sip. He let the sweet liquid burn his tongue, savouring the bittery chocolate taste. He wrapped his fingers around the mug, warming his hands for they were still freezing from the snowy weather.

"Yeah but my house is better." Mark smirked, turning around and walking into the front room before Jack would answer. He enjoyed annoying the green haired boy, but they both knew it was just a joke. He never meant anything he said, it was all for laughs.

He sat down on the couch and waited for Jack to appear, which he soon did, wearing his famous blue hoodie. Mark couldn't help but smile, a small giggle escaping his lips when the blue eyed boy sat next to him. He grinned at Jack's confused expression, moving forward and wiping some whipped cream off of his nose with his thumb. That must've got there from the hot chocolate. He chuckled a little more as Jack's face flushed pink.

"So what do you want to wat-"

"GAME OF THRONES!"

Mark let out a small scream as Jack's loudness scared him, causing the younger one to fall into a fit of laughter. The brown eyed boy held a hand over his mouth and glared at the Irishman, taking his turn to blush.

"Okay, we'll watch that then." He smiled after calming down, watching Jack shoot a grin his way.

Half way through the episode, Mark heard some shuffling next to him and then a sudden warmth around his waist. He looked down and saw a small, sleeping Jack hugging him loosely, his left arm draped over his waist. He made a cute internal noise as he pulled the American closer, nuzzling his face into th hoodie Mark was wearing. Mark found his extremely adorable, and he grinned with a small chuckle, holding the younger one closer.

He always hated winters, but this winter was the one he'll always cherish.
