Y/N and I have been dating for nine months and it's been the best nine months of my life. She's the only person who has ever made me this happy before. I think I love her. Actually, scratch that, I do love her. But, how do I tell her? Do I make it one of those cliche promposals things? Or do I just keep it simple and just tell her. I think I'll keep it simple. Ah! What if she wants me to make a big deal out of it?! This shouldn't be as complicated as I'm making it.

My phone starts ringing and I see that it's Y/N. Oh god. Ok ok ok. I think I'll just tell her over the phone. Please don't mess this up. PLEASE DON'T MESS THIS UP.
Breathe. You're just saying I love you.
I pick up the phone as my hands shake.
"Hey babe." She says. The sound of tires screeching against concrete told me she was driving.
"What's up?" I replied.
"Nothing. I'm just on my way back to my house from work. What are you doing?"
Oh just contemplating how to properly say three simple words.
"Just watching tv. Hey, I, uh, want to tell you something."
"Ok. What is it?"
I breathed heavily into the phone. I could hear my shaky breaths echo through her car.
"I, um, I....I." I took a second to breathe.
Why is this so hard?
"Just spit it out, Shawn." Her sweet voice spoke unsettling words.
I can so do this.
"I.....Love you, Y/N."
"Oh...."
It was silent for a moment.
"Thank GOD. Woo! I love you too, Shawn."
"What?"
"Shawn, I was way too afraid to say it to you because I thought you wouldn't feel the same way. So, I'm soooooo glad you said it."
Wow, that was a lot easier than I thought.
"That's a relief, Y/N."
"I'll talk to you more when I get home. Bye."
"Bye."
She hung up the phone.
I'm just glad she feels the same way as me.
