Shawn ~
I continued to stress out about the dance that's about to start. How do I even dance? I'm terrible at everything. Asking my mom, the only thing she advised me not to do was step on her feet. Not the greatest help, but I'll keep it in mind. I watched Y/N engage in conversation with a family friend of hers. She is so stunning in her white silk-like wedding dress. The way her (your colored skin) stood out from everything else caused me to widen my eyes.

Her eyes glanced over to mine. My cheeks blushed as she caught me staring at her. I looked away and began to act like as if I were trying to talk to someone else.

I could hear the clacks of her heels that were hidden underneath the elongated dress get closer to me before I felt her warm fingers touch mine. "How's my... husband?" She chuckled at the label. Obviously, it's her first day.

"He's doing well, but he just wants to kiss his... wife." Childishly giggling at our words, she landed a simple kiss on my cheek just as a tease. "That's all he'll get. Does he want to start our traditional dance?"

Of course I'm not ready, I can't dance for my life, let alone dance in front of Aunt Gilligan.
"I can't dance... so no." Taking a sip out of a small, round glass of some drink she liked (probably unsweetened tea), she turns to me with a familiar look on her face: the "really?" face.

"I've seen you dance before. You can dance." Her hand tugged at the sleeve of my suit and dragged me into the middle of the room. It was awkward, since all eyes were one mine, now. Of course they would be, bride and groom ready to dance the first dance of the night is something people would pay attention to at a wedding. The songs changed from fast to lovey dovey slow just at the flick of Y/N's wrist.

"I really don't know what I'm supposed to do." I whispered as her hair flipped to the other side of her body. She found my awkwardness amusing and continued to laugh it off. "Then I guess right now would be a great time to learn, huh?" Her eyebrows wiggled.

"Come on, Shawn. Take my hand, I'll show you." Locking the fingers of her right hand with my left, she straightened her posture and gestured me to do the same. "Watch my feet." She whispered. Her feet moved in the continuous motion of left-back-right-front-twist. My mind got used to her pattern, but not my legs so much.

Just as I went to twist, I tripped over my long legs and nearly fell on top of Y/N. Fortunately, she had enough strength to push me back up to my previous balanced position on my feet.

"Sorry." Her cheeks heated at my embarrassment. I've obviously been very amusing to her tonight. She repositioned our bodies, but closer now and a lot more giggling involved.

"You're great at this." She smirked with sarcasm all over her lips. "I didn't mean to make this dance suck." My eyes curved to see the looks of other family members piercing their stares at mine. "This didn't suck at all. It was memorable." "Another way of saying it sucked." Her fingers tilted my head towards hers, grinning at me. Wrapping her arms around my neck, she began "you're a great dancer. I don't care if you weren't. I still love you, and I won't ever forget this dance. I'll make jokes about this for the rest of our lives." Biting her lip, her eyelashes fluttered upward. I leaned toward her lips as she attached our lips together to make one. Our lips making a savoring taste to last forever.

"The rest of our lives?" I asked, regarding her previous remarks. Jokingly rolling her eyes, she responds me with "yes, and even a million years after that. I hope you don't get tired of my jokes, because that's all you'll be hearing from me."

"Don't worry, I won't ever get tired of you."
