Did you ever wonder if secret societies and other groups use a tongue-sticking-out gesture?

I got this from a rather ominous sounding YouTube video by Stephen Hope who has a very unique theory about tongue gestures. The following is a brief synopsis of his theory. I also give my interpretations about his theories with help from my minister son.

Let's go back to the Bible and see when the tongue is mentioned.

One is in James 3:9 "With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be".

Who is the Father?

Go to John 8:44 "You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies".

This is Jesus telling the Pharisees that they were not loyal to Abraham and therefore worshiping the devil. In other words he was telling them that their father is not God the Father but instead the devil.

Supposedly, the Father is the Devil in the original Trinity who has horns as seen is some stone carvings. This doesn't make sense, as I've indicated above. It's also an incorrect interpretation of the stone carving.

Now, let's go to James 3:5 "Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark".

James 3:6 "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one's life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell"

James 3:8 ". . .but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison".

James was ranting about the fact that people should mind their tongues and not spout off things that are not true. He was symbolically using the idea of the evil tongue as being poison.

Now to 1 Corinthians 14:2 "For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit".

This is a case in which some Corinthians considered themselves spiritual because they spoke strange languages (Speaking in tongues after the coming of the Holy Spirit). Paul was telling them that they must also be able to interpret languages in the context of the Church and to not think of themselves as being so special.

Philippians 2:11 ". . . and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father".

This again is symbolically referenced to the idea that speaking is with the tongue, especially when it was in the context of praising Jesus.
All of Stephan's ideas seem to suggest that the tongue gesture is one of Satanism. That is a false interpretation of the scriptures mentioned. I obtained the proper interpretations of these passages from my minister son.

Okay, this is where it gets crazy. Supposedly, Freemasons believe in transcendent gods through time. There are many gods throughout various mythologies, which are gods with tongues sticking out. Indian gods are depicted this way, as are Egyptian gods and Greek gods, such as Gorgon. Demons are often shown with tongues sticking out. The idea is prevalent in many cultures, including Inca and Aztec gods. Also, you see it in gargoyles. Sometimes the tongues appear to be covered in blood but instead they are chevrons, which is the shape of the Hyades cluster that's in the constellation Taurus.

Past the 24th degree of Freemasonry the tongue gesture represents the Hyades cluster.
However, only 1% of Freemasons are women.

Who does this tongue gesture? Here's a partial list: Einstein, Miley Cirus, Justin Bieber, Brad Pit, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Barack Obama, and John McCain.
That list did it for me! My take on this is: if you believe this, you're crazy.
