CASSY'S POV
I woke up the next morning with an ache in my heart...I still really missed Mom. I know Dad didn't mean to snap at me like that, but it just reopened the wound of loosing her. I tried to push those thoughts to the back of my head, I needed to be cheery today for Logan. I'm so excited for our date! I got out of bed and headed over to my closet. It was a little overcast today, so I picked out dark skinny jeans, a dark green tanktop, grey sweater, and my brown combat boots. I flat ironed my hair, brushed my teeth, and put on my usual makeup of cover up, eyeliner, and mascara. I headed out of my room and ran into an exhausted looking Jakob.
"Woahhhh, what's up with you?" I asked as he ran a hand through his messy hair.
"So...much...homework," Jakob mumbled and I laughed.
"High school sucks, but you'll survive." Jakob just stuck out his tongue and we headed downstairs together. Adrienne, Joey, and Billie were already there having breakfast, so Jakob and I just sat down with them. I picked up a piece of toast and Jakob slammed his head on the table, groaning.
"Hahaha, all nighter much?" Joey asked, and Jakob just sighed.
"Here Boo, have some coffee." Adrienne suggested, sliding a cup to Jakob. He picked up his head and quietly started drinking it.
After a couple minutes, Joey said, "We should go, bye Mom, bye Dad." Jakob and I followed him out and we drove off.

"Bye guys!" I called, and Joey and Jakob waved to me as they walked over to their friends.
I headed over to mine and Lizzie quickly said, "CASSY! I HEARD LOGAN JACKSON ASKED YOU OUT! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO WEAR? WHERE ARE YOU GOING? TELL ME EVERYTHING!"
I quickly smacked my hand over her mouth and whispered, "Lizzie, shhh! I don't want the whole school to know!" She nodded and I took my hand off. I looked over to Chelsea, Tyler, Valerie, Conner, and Ryan. Chelsea looked just excited as Lizzie, Tyler and Conner didn't seem to care that much, but Ryan looked really annoyed. I remembered he warned me about Logan, but just because he said that, it doesn't mean that I'll just blow off Logan. I highly doubt Logan would ever cheat on me, I think he really cares for me. I was about to talk to Ryan when the bell rang and he stormed off into the hallways. I groaned, knowing he was mad at me but I tried to shrug it off. I headed off to class with Lizzie, just wishing this school day would be over.

Ryan ignored me pretty much all of today, so I was ready to spend Math with Cole, and just have an easy time talking to him. That's what I liked so much about Cole, he was such an easy person to talk to. I sat down at my desk and watched as Cole clumsily headed into the classroom, and headed over to his desk next to me.
"Hey Cassy," he exclaimed, sitting down.
"Hey Cole." I said, sounding stressed because of my date and Ryan being so mad. "
What's up with you?" He asked, and I sighed.
"Boy troubles, my friend Ryan is mad at me for going on a date with this guy Logan Jackson, but he can't control who I date. Ugh, he's so frustrating some times."
"Oh Princess, quit your whining. Your friend Ryan will come around, just give it time. Now perk up, put on a smile, and help get me through this Math period." I laughed and Cole gave me a huge smile. Our teacher came up and we started the lesson. It took him a half hour to explain everything, and then he let us work with partners on a worksheet.
"You and me Princess?" Cole asked and I nodded.
"Princess, really? Is that your nickname for me now?" I asked, and Cole smirked.
"Yup, now help me with this worksheet or I'll tell Joey all about your date."
I gasped in fake astonishment, "You wouldn't!"
"Oh, but I would Princess!" I laughed and Cole and I got to work.

I felt better after Math, and soon it was time for my Science period with Logan. I headed over to my desk and saw that Logan was already there.
"Hey Logan!" I said happily, sitting down.
"Sup Punk?" He replied, flashing me his beautiful smile.
"Thinking about our date, I'm really excited!" I squeaked, and Logan smirked.
"Good, I'll make sure you have the time of your life." He winked and I giggled. I couldn't believe that I was so lucky to go out with such an amazing guy. At my old school, I wasn't popular, but I wasn't a nerd. I had some friends, but to most people, I was invisible. But here, everyone has been so nice and welcoming, and now I get to date an amazing guy like Logan! I was pulled from my thoughts by the Physics teacher starting the lesson. I pulled out my notebook and started copying down the notes. I vigorously wrote with my right hand, while my left was just sitting on my desk. Suddenly, I felt Logan reach over and grab onto it with his hand. I looked up and saw him smile and get back to writing. I smiled too and continued on, gently squeezing his hand. Forget Ryan, Logan is an amazing guy, and I can't wait to go out with him. Maybe Ryan will finally realize he's not a bad guy, and stop acting so jealous. Finally, the bell rang and I quickly said goodbye to Logan. I met up with my brothers and we headed to the car.
"Ryan, I hope you'll forgive me soon." I thought to myself, hoping that everything would go back to normal.
