Break up or new start (Part -1)

It was Saturday morning after having breakfast with her family Ridhima went back to her room "mom please don't disturb me till lunch I have to complete some office work, I have meeting tomorrow" she told her mother

"Ridhima tomorrow is Sunday dear" her mother asked

"Yes mom tomorrow" she said and closed her bedroom door.

She picked file from her side table and started reading the requirement and designs and suitable location for photo shoot. She was happy that she is going to work with big designer and she is working under big company but she is not able to understand why suddenly Ronit's change of behaviors.

She closed her file and took her phone and start looking at her and Pranav picture ,their engagement picture .Everything is changing, "Pranav has changed since she joined new job" her train of thought suddenly stops with the "beep beep" sound

Pranav ? "hello" she smiled ,she was really missing Pranav today.

"Ridhima if you are not busy can we talk " Pranav asked hesitantly.

"Pranav please I am always free for you ,I am so happy that you finally called up,I was missing you and thinking about you ,you know I have to tell you so many things " her voice filled with excitement 

"Really ridhima are you really happy, then you will understand and support me" Pranav asked his voice deep and authoritative

"Yes " she said in serious tone 

"Let's get married this month and after marriage we will shift down to Nasik. I will start my business and you can start yours" he said rather it was order as if decision already made.

"But it's impossible I just started my career and you never said that you are planning to move away from Mumbai" Ridhima asked her voice was shivering.

"But now I have decided Ridhima tomorrow I will come with my family and discuss about our marriage plans" he said

"No not so soon think about it Pranav lets meet up and  talk face to face  " she pleaded

"you will support me right?" he asked angrily

"Give me some time I have project I can't leave in between my project"

"Leave the job" he ordered angrily

"I can't it's my dream job" tears rolled down her cheeks.

"Then it's your decision leave your profession or I will break our engagement". Pranav shouted on phone

Ridhima was confused with his behaviour he had always supported her. He never ever had behaved and spoken like this ,he never shout and show anger ,he is very patient man.

"Don't cry Ridhima you need a clear mind to decide about our future" he said and cut the call. She kept staring at her mobile for long time.

"Ridhima di(sis) are you ready its already late , you remember that we are going out for lunch"...her sister knocked on her door

Ridhima got up from her bed "yes I know, I will be ready in 10 minutes" she walk to her bathroom washed her face and got ready for lunch.

Knock knock "Ronit get up you sleepy boy"

"Karan I think we should call Ronit on his mobile he is still sleeping" said Ganesh but Suddenly the doors opens.Both Karan and Ganesh smiled at their best friend

"So sleepy boy is up"all three went inside the apartment

"Yes boys I was tired slept late" Ronit smiled and picked up his towel.

"Really you slept late? Ronit never sleeps late, he is a good boy" they both stated together wiggling their eyebrow at Ronit.

"Yes I was thinking abu... nothing leave it" Ronit just smiled and looked at them "you guys are hopeless" he checked the time and said "why didn't you both came early its already 2 p.m i am going to get ready and what's the plan"

"You get ready will discuss plan on the way" they both said in unison

Ronit smiled and went inside bathroom.

"Something is wrong Ganesh, Ronit is behaving differently our friend is smiling he was thinking about something or someone" Karan looked back at Ganesha

"I think I know who's that someone is, she is?" Ganesh nodded as if he is not ok with what going on.

"She" Are you sure Ganesh that someone is she?" Karan repeated as if he is not sure what Ganesh had just spoke

"Yes but she is engaged, I don't want Ronit to get hurt this time" Ganesh looked at his friend and they nodded at each other.

Ridhima walk to beach with her father "what's wrong Ridhi" he stood and looked at Ridhima

"Nothing dad just thinking about the meeting, tomorrow's meeting, it's a big day" she smiled and took her father hand and started walking towards her mother and sister .She wants to tell her father but not today not now tomorrow is important day for her she don't want to think about anything not even Pranav, she never loved Pranav but always took him as friend, her engagement was arranged but she never felt insecure about this relationship before today.

Ronit parked his bike; he and his friends rode their favourite bike every weekend,they always pick nice place to eat then take a long ride in outskirts of Mumbai. It's ritual now.

He walks inside his walk-in-cabinet and get dressed in shorts and tees "time for some work", he picked the file and gone through each and every detail of meeting. After finishing he shut down the light and lay on his bed "Ridhima Ridhima why you are constantly in my mind, why Ridhima I can't forget our kiss, your smile he ran his hand through hair and closed his eyes".
