"Take the medicine, you'll feel okay." Sir murmured and my eyes turned towards him.

I looked at his expressionless face.

Our eyes met once again.

Why is he even here?

I didn't reply and looking down at the pill in my hand, I gulped it down my throat.

It's so weird - him being here.

I stared at Britney and smiled.

I can't imagine living this colorless life without her.

I'm so glad it was all a nightmare.

God! It was one hell of a nightmare.

I'm at home that means Brit brought me back to my parents - drunk and unconscious version of me.

Britney!

I stood embarrassed inside my own living room, surrounded by my parents, my best friend and him.

Sir in his suit, looked at his watch.

Surely he was busy.

Why bother being here?

I rolled my eyes and made sure to not look at him.

After all that happened last night, the things I said--- I'm just too embarrassed.

"I'll leave now, Mr. William." He shook hands with my Dad firmly.

"It was nice talking with you." Dad smiled.

He turned and before leaving asked, "Can  I talk to you for a moment, Miss Williams?"

What?

I stared at him puzzled.

What does he want to talk about?

I kept at my place - frozen. Mom shook me, bringing my senses back.

"Your boss just called you, Ava." Mom passed me her deadly glare.

I restrained myself from rolling my eyes and started walking towards him.

He saw me and got out of the house. I also came out and we stood face to face on my porch.

"I w--anted to---" he stuttered and I raised my brows with surprise.

Don't you dare say sorry to me! I swear if he did--- I'll kill him.

"I'm really sorry, Miss Williams."

Ah, now you're dead.

"It was never my intention to hurt you." He continued.

Before he could add more pitiful sorrys to this conversation, I said frankly, "Please, Sir, you're embarrassing me. It will be much better if you don't say sorry."
