AVA'S POV

He didn't need to shout at me like this. I had such a good mood today and--- ugh, why he always have to do something like this to piss me off.

ALWAYS!

Well, on the other hand he was worried about Christian. But how could I know that he's not allowed to eat cold stuff.

And I had no other choice, Mr. Little Smith is very clever.

Not once he told me anything like that.

That little devil!

I turned to look at Christian sitting and still enjoying his breakfast. I went up to him.

"Was it dad?" He asked still savoring the pancakes I made him.

"How did you know it was your dad?"

"By the look on your face." He had a smile on his face.

"Your dad's a devil." I murmured.

"What?" He looked up from his plate at me.

"Nothing."

He glared at me. "He's not a devil!"

I rolled my eyes.

Yes, not only him. Both father and son are devil.

"He's very nice, caring and loving." He added.

WHAT! Nice, caring and loving?

My ass.

I wanted to laugh out loud on hearing the biggest joke of the year.

I contained my laughter.

"Sure he is." Only with you.

In no way I was going to argue with his kid, because he's one step ahead of his devil father.

Christian finished eating and it was nice to see him fully complete his plate. He drank juice and taking his bag, we both went out where driver was already waiting for him.

I got in with him in the car at the back seat.

The driver started the car.

"You didn't mention anything about our ice-cream deal,  right?" He asked hesitantly.

Oh my, this boy.

"Of course not." I lied.

I think I have to break this promise, but if I told him now he's not gonna go to school.

"So let's eat now." He said excitedly.

"Not now. After your school." I looked away at other side.

The car was very comfortable and the driver drove very smoothly.

There was a pause and then Christian said looking down, "I usually don't cry." He looked up. "It's just that all other kids have moms but I don't."

If only I could say something to him.

I was so bad at this--- comforting someone.

Poor kid.

He then said with a bright smile, "But I got my dad and he's the best."

"Yes, he loves you VERY much." I smiled patting on his back.
