Odell and Kenya have been best friends throughout college. As graduation approaches and both their lives are set to change, they evaluate whether they should be more than friends.

"How old are you again?" I laughed looking at O drinking from his children's cup at Denny's with no hands bent over the table.
"You're mad because you don't have a collectors cup." He said with the straw in his mouth.
"Yeah. I'm mad." I rolled my eyes and wiped my hands on a napkin.
We had just got done watching X-Men then went to Denny's to get something to eat.
I noticed a girl staring at Odell and whispering to her friend next to her. I guess trying to figure out if it was him.
"That chick staring in the booth over there." I looked at her then him.
He looked over there, waved and smiled. She blushed and waved back. She did a little excitement silent scream. Like Odell just waved at me.
I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "You made her day I guess."
"Somebodies jealous."
"Not really. I don't get the hype." I shrugged and ate one of my fries. I had ordered chicken tenders and fries.
"All work, no hype over here. I'm the best mutha-fucka on that team. You know it." He said eating his waffles with strawberry syrup.
"Actually Jarvis is the best." I took a sip of my Sprite. "If it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have won that game against Alabama. Seeing as you was dropping passes and all."
He looked at me salty.
I laughed. "I'm joking."
He did a laugh and then a serious face.
I chuckled at his fast change of expression.
"I guess Jarvis can pay for your meal. And he should've paid for your movie too."
"He can pay for more than my meal." I said eating a chicken tender, suggestively. As though it was a sexual act.
O rolled his eyes annoyed, then ate some of his bacon. He always does that, get annoyed when I talk about Jarvis in That way.
"So you mad?" I asked him.
"Why would I be mad? You ain't got a chance with Jarvis no way."
Did he just? I think he just.
"Excuse you?" I wrinkled my forehead, knowing he wasn't saying, what I thought he was saying.
