Silverpaws eyes shot open to the sun peaking from the screeens of the twoleg house. She started looking around figuring out that she was back in the twoleg nest on her soft boulder. She let out a relieved sigh for a moment before thinking about what Badgerfur had showed her. She knew why the tom had showed her his memories. 'He wants me to learn to swim' She thought knowingly. She let out a defeated sigh thinking about the pretty hazel she cat who would never walk on four paws possibly in even Starclan. She got to her paws letting out a tired yawn and groan of pain as she slid off the boulder and on to her leg. She tasted the air deeming that Max was no longer in the house and limped to and through the cat door. She instantly saw Max in front of the twoleg nest his tail entwined with his mates while they watched their kits wrestle in front of them. Silverpaw couldn't help but wonder if she would be like that some day. A image came to her mind, her much bigger with a tom beside her with their tails entwined while watching three kits play. She recognized the tom from his broad shoulders to his pale brown fur, his shining amber eyes, and his black flecks. It was Sparrowpaw! She shook her head erasing the image 'Why would I fall for him?' She thought than padded to Max's other side away from Crystal. Max's ears twitched as he tasted the air "Silverpaw?" He asked. Silverpaw didn't waste time and said to Max "Okay Max i'll try your idea". Max was silent for a moment but then had knowingly blind eyes lingering on her "I hoped you would say that" he finally said. "She would say what?" Crystal asked finally seeing that Silverpaw was there. But Max only turned to her and licked her cheek affectionately "Nothing to worry about love". He untwined their tail and stood up "We're going to talk to Oreo" he said simply. 'Oreo?' Silverpaw wondered looking at Max confused. Crystal only nodded then went back to watching her kits. Max led Silverpaw to a door a few fox lengths from the Twoleg entrance to the nest. Out of nowhere Max grabbed Silverpaw by her scruff holding her so she dangled a bit. "What are you doing?!" Silverpaw hissed at the tom. But Max didn't answer her as he hopped onto a Silver boulder that was perched by the nest then onto the fence that aligned the door. On the fence Silverpaw could see the other side of the Twolegs territory. It was nothing but grass on the other side but she heard a strange sound then saw a black and white blur run by. Her neckfur started to rise and she started to his "Max! Thiers a dog!!" She hissed but it fell upon death ears. The dogs ears twitched and it sniffed the air whirling around to face the duo on the fence then trotted over to them barking when it reached the fence. Silverpaw hissed down at the fence "Get out of here you giant furball!!". But the dog stayed their and continued its barking until Max hissed down at it muffled "Knock it off Oreo your scaring her". Silverpaws eyes widened in fear 'Oreo... is a dog?!!'. The dog stopped its barking and backed up some tail lengths "I'm only playing around" the creature said once Max hopped down off the fence. Max carefully put Silverpaw down and once she was down she darted to the corner of the fence beside her. Max looked toward Silverpaw puzzled "Silver?" (They sometimes call her Silver and leave off the paw). Silverpaws neck fur rose and she hissed toward Max "You do know that Oreo is a dog, right?". Max looked at her with amusement "Yes I do I am blind not death". Oreo trotted over to Max's side "Do not fret Silver old girl I do not bite or harm" he said. Silverpaw noticed that Oreo was a bit taller than Max not a lot taller like the dogs she'd seen a few times run in the distance of the Iceclan border. He was also pretty hairy with long strands of fur. She noted that he had a few grey hairs giving her a good idea that he was getting old enough to be a elder. She saw a look of trusting in his eyes and a bit pleading then she sighed and nodded. Max turned to Oreo "Hey Oreo you remember what I asked you before?" He asked. Oreo nodded then his icy eyes glanced at Silverpaw for a second "She agreed?" He asked puzzled. Max nodded as his tail twitched "Were all set. Now I believe we should practice at the pond since the frog lake is to far". Oreo nodded his head then turned toward the back of the fence and paw'd at it pushing a piece of the fence revealing a hole "Follow me" the dog barked as he slipped through with ease. Max followed after him with no hesitation while Silverpaw passed by with hesitation. Once she was through she was able to see the outside of the twoleg nest after being only in the small territory for so long. She felt a jolt of happiness at finally seeing trees and smelling the air that smelled of the forest that was their for a second. Oreo continued leading the way in the grass near a Twoleg path. Silverpaw felt fear as she was near it but was comforted as she felt a tail touch her shoulder. She looked to her side and saw Max with a calm look in his eyes. She continued to limp along side him with him helping support her. She saw Oreo trot pass a couple of trees and fences with a few kittypets on them. Some of them fled
to their side of the fence while others just watched him with either a friendly or disgusted look. She saw a bright ginger cat with glowing beautiful blue eyes and tan fore paws along with three cinder spots around her eye watch her with a strange look before disappearing on its side. She continued on thinking nothing of it as Oreo continued trotting until they reached a rocky dirt slope"Just down this road is the pond". Silverpaw could feel her neckfur rise as she padded down the slope closer to the pond. She felt a tongue lick her ear as they neared the pond "You'll be alright" She heard Max coo in her ear. She looked at Max questionably about his amount of affection for her but stopped as she saw Oreo slip through the ferns that screened the pond. She could hear the sounds of the water hitting against stones and squirrels in their trees. She looked at Max and then took a deep breath and slipped through the fern screens
