Chapter 7 - 'What is he doing here?'

When the bell rings for the next period I look over at Hunter.

"We should probably go to the next period." I tell him. He nods. He pulls me up and I brush myself down.

"You still haven't brought them." Hunter says.

"What?" I ask.

"The cigarettes." He says smirking. I wink at him. We walk back into the building and everyone's whispers about me and Mrs Hale stop when they see me.

"Jeez, how does everyone know about it so quick?" I ask Hunter. He chuckles, pulling me forward. Whispers slowly start up again. I turn to the closest pair and say loudly.

"Don't forget the gun I pointed at her." They both look at me petrified. The guards in the hall raise their eyebrows but don't ask – they know not to by now.

"Oh, and then Mrs Hale started to cry." Hunter adds. I smile and carry onto the gym.

We have to split up to change, but we meet up afterwards and walk out to the field together.

"I wonder if the rumour mill will have that you killed her by the end of the day." Hunter jokes. I chuckle.

"Hi Hunter." I hear a sickly voice say from behind us. I groan as we turn around.

"Hey Tiffany." Hunter replies, shooting me a look.

"Scar." She says looking me up and down.

"Scarlett. Only my friends get to call me Scar." I reply. Tiffany rolls her eyes.Hun

"You haven't been in recently, where have you been?" She asks moving closer to Hunter. Hunter rubs his thumb over my hand. The movement catches Tiffany's attention, causing her to look down.

"Oh." She says. "Are you two dating now?" She asks.

"It's none of your business if we are." I reply. She glares at me but then her eyes go over my shoulder and her expression changes. I turn around to see what caught her attention and grip Hunter's hand tighter.

"Ow, Scar..." He trails off as he turns around and sees what I'm looking at.

"Oh."

"What is he doing here?" I ask Hunter looking around.

"I don't know. There's one way of finding out." He says.

"What?" I ask.

"Ask him."

"Stay here." I tell him. I let go of Hunter's hand and wait for Kyle to come into my mind. I sigh in relief when he doesn't and walk to the edge of the field. I walk cautiously closer waiting for something to happen. Kyle wouldn't just let him go, after keeping me from him all this time, without there being a reason. Reid looks up at me. I grin and run up to him pulling his head down into a kiss. I let out all of my worries into the kiss.

His hands come down onto my shoulders and he pushes me back.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" I stare at him for a long time.

"Reid, this isn't funny." I tell him.

"How do you know my name?" He demands. I press my lips together.

"I told her." Hunter says from behind me, pressing his palm to my back. I sigh in relief. "What are you doing here? Where have you been?" Hunter asks. I sniff the air discreetly, trying to figure out what Reid is. I can't smell anything, only Hunter and the rest of the field.

"I've been away." Reid says.

"What are you doing here?" Hunter asks again.

"I wanted to talk to you, Leo, Liam and Jake. I was distracted by the nice view." He says smirking, looking behind us at Tiffany. My mouth falls open. Hunter pulls me closer to him, trying to comfort me.

"Is she your girlfriend?" Reid asks him. Hunter nods. I shoot him a glare but he ignores it.

"Well next time keep her under control, I don't want to catch a disease. I can see why she did it though." He says. Oh hell no! I rip out of Hunter's hold and storm up to Reid. I punch him.

"That 'view' is more likely to give you a disease than me." I retort disquietedly. He scoffs. I spin on my heel and storm back to the field.

"So, are you going to introduce me?" Reid asks Hunter.

"Oh, poor Scar. Did Reid forget you? I did warn you he would move on." Kyle's voice says.

Hope you liked it! Reid's back. I only decided to bring him back when I started to write this part. :)
