It takes my mind a minute to realise who he's talking about, and once it does I want to turn the car around and punch Grant.

"Yes, I did." I reply frankly.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks, not seeming mad.

"I didn't think it mattered, and it never really came up, it didn't mean anything to either of us. Reid knows, but it happened while we were on the break after I told him about what I was. Anyway, we were using each other. I was using him because I wanted to get back at Reid for being an asshole, as Grant had the Grim Reaper tattoo at the time, and he was using me so he could kill me." Hunter's face goes to stone, and he looks back the way we came. I quickly go on to explain to Hunter about everything that happened after that and our agreement, telling him that's why I changed Helen. He visibly relaxes.

"Have you got any good information from him?" He asks. I shake my head sighing.

"Kyle knows to not tell anyone of his followers his big plans, just in case someone goes against him, like he did to me and my dad." I let Hunter know. "But his big ego will take over one day, and he'll let slip something. He wants the recognition and praise for his plans. It's all about waiting." I still haven't heard from Kyle about what he wants me to do for him to leave me alone, and I don't know if I ever will know what he wanted. I look over to Hunter who is staring out of the window, with a look of deep thinking on his face.

"What's got you thinking so deep?" I ask looking back to the road.

"I'm just wondering if he's watching us right now..." Like Hunter I look out of the window, and search the crowds on the sidewalk. Any one of them could be with Kyle, watching my every move. I've never thought about it before, but it's a possibility.

"Most likely." I reply.

"How are we going to find him, and end this?" He asks.

"We?"

"Yes, I want to help."

"I don't think that's a good idea." I tell him.

"Why not?!" He asks getting more annoyed.

"I don't need your help, I can do it myself."

"Two heads are better than one. So, why not?" He repeats his question.

"Because you could get hurt!" I exclaim louder than intended.

"And you couldn't?" He responds. I bite my lip.

"It's a lot harder for me to be killed."

"If I'm killed I'll just be a soul, I can still help."

"No! I said no!" I shout, the car swerving as I look furiously over at Hunter. I press firmly down on the brake, to stop us from careering into another car or onto the sidewalk. Breathing heavily I starts forwards again, this time going straight.

"I'm sorry." I apologise, not looking at him. I don't know why I got so passionate and angry about it.

"It's alright." Hunter replies.

"Maybe we should have a break from each other?" I suggest. "We're around each other all day every day, and it's straining our friendship, and it will give me a chance to get everything straight in my mind."

"What happens if Kyle tries something?" He asks as if he's just been wounded.

"I can deal with it." I reply, thinking that if he does then I can ask him what I need to do to stop him from annoying me further.

"You sure?" He asks.

"Certain. I think it'll do us good, you'll be there most of the day at school anyway." I remind him. He breathes in deeply, before finally agreeing.
