.:Your POV:.
You had escaped from the Kraang after destroying one of their biggest labs. The foot armor you still wore was torn to shreds. You were injured pretty badly but kept pushing yourself to find a place to hide. You made it to an abandoned warehouse and hid yourself among some boxes, laying on your right side with your sword in your hand in case you had to defend yourself. Your vision blurred as you pulled out the t-phone that Leo had given you.
"T-phone distress signal to all other active t-phones within range," you muttered.
You waited for what seemed like years of pain before you heard voices. You forced yourself to stay awake until you saw a flash of green and blue. Only when you felt a pair of familiar hands running through your fur did you allow yourself to pass out from pain and blood loss
.:Leo's POV:.
It had been a month and a half since the incident where I got stabbed. I still wore bandages around my torso. I was training with the guys and April in the dojo when everyone's t-phones started going off. I pulled out my phone and realized it was a distress signal. I saw Donnie typing on his t-phone before the signal shut off and some kind of scanner came up on everyone's screens.
"What the heck was that?" Raph asked as we all congregated together.
"It looked like a distress signal, yo," Casey said, leaning on a hockey stick.
"But none of us are hurt. We're all here," Mikey said as I slid my katanas into their sheathes on my back.
"Who else would have a t-phone besides us?" April asked as my eyes widened in fear.
"Oh shell," I said before I ran out of the lair.
I could hear the others following me as I followed the tracker. The tracker on my t-phone led us to an abandoned warehouse over in Little Italy. I noticed that a door was slightly ajar and blood drops were trailing inside. I was in full ninja mode with the others as we snuck into the warehouse. I noticed a pile of boxes that had been recently moved because they weren't so covered in dust like the rest of the stuff in the building. I looked on the ground and noticed some semi fresh blood and a few pieces of white hair. My stomach tightened as I approached the boxes in fear of what I might find. The guys and I moved the boxes carefully to reveal (Y/n) laying on the ground, barely conscious and lying in a growing pool of her own blood. I knelt down to her side as Donnie began bandaging her cuts just enough for us to move her. I noticed that she has passed out so I lifted her up into my arms while April picked her swords up. I carried (Y/n) back to the lair with my brothers, April, and Casey surrounding me like a guard. We reached the lair and I ran to lay (Y/n) the table in Donnie's lab. I left her to April and Donnie's care. As much as I hated to leave her, I knew I had to for her health. Everyone else was waiting in the main room. I walked over to where Splinter was meditating and sat beside him.
"(Y/n) has come home, correct?" Splinter asked.
"Hai, Sensei. She was barely conscious when we found her. It looked like she had been in a big fight," I said as I looked down to my hands as guilt consumed me. "I should have never let her leave us that night on the rooftops."
"We must each choose our own path. She felt that she was dangerous to you and decided that the best way to let you heal was to leave you alone," Splinter said.
"There was a lot of blood, Sensei," I said worriedly.
"She will be fine, my son. You must believe that," Splinter said firmly before beginning his meditation.
"Hai, Sensei," I said before I began trying to meditate.
It seems that I had only been meditating for a few minutes before I heard the lab doors open. I opened my eyes to see Donnie carrying (Y/n) towards her bedroom. I quickly got up and went over towards him. I took my girlfriend from his arms and carried her myself. I gently laid her on the bed in a position that wouldn't cause her more pain before I covered her with the covers while being careful of the bandages she was wearing. I noticed that her tail was splinted in several places as well as her left leg being in a white cast up to her knee and that her right wrist, she also had a white cast. Once i made sure she was comfortable, I turned to Donnie.
"How was she?" I asked.
"Her tail was broken in three places. Her left ankle and femur were fractured pretty badly. Same with her right wrist but I only out a brace on her there. She had a burnt place where it looks like she had been shot, probably by a Kraang, after her armor was torn to shreds. She had a deep cut from where it looked like she had been cut with her own sword. She did lose a fair amount of blood, but she is a little bit better than you were after the invasion, Leo," Donnie said as I pulled up a chair by the bed and sat in it.
"Thanks, Don," I said quietly.
"I also gave her some pain medication and a sedative to help her sleep," Donnie said.
"Thanks," I said before Donnie left the room.
"I'm so sorry that I allowed this to happen to you," I said quietly.
I sat beside her much like Raph did when I was unconscious at the farmhouse after the invasion. I held her good hand and kissed it softly before I began meditating.
