Sally turned to you and Sonic, her arms crossed and a playful smirk on her face.
"What took you so long?" the Princess asked with a smile. "You're usually one of the first ones here, Sonic."
"Well, I took (Y/N) on a little tour..." the hedgehog stated, but he was interrupted.
"Did you show her the water pressure? Now, THAT'S Engineering!!" the walrus exclaimed.
"I think it was her favorite part," the hero joked as he nudged you with an elbow. You face palmed at his cruddy joke.
"Anyway," Sally intervened, "We need to go over a few things. First off, We will arrive at Artika tomorrow afternoon, and we will meet up with the freedom fighters down there. Then, we will propose a plan to storm the base, and capture the emerald."
"And hopefully," a blue Mobian stated as he punched his hand, "We'll be able to destroy Eggheads joke of security."
"We have no idea what kind of machines are there, Sugah-hog," Bunnie explained.
"Either way, I'm read to kick some butt!" Sonic exclaimed placing his feet on the table.
"We are going to initiate take-off in 5...4..." Nicole informed. Everyone around you was calmer than the ocean, while you tapped your foot in excitement.
