Lauren's POV: "Your father, he passed away yesterday, he had a heart attack, they tried to reanimate him but they weren't able. I'm sorry sweetie." My aunt said crying. "What?! This must be a joke! Are you serious?!" I said. My voice cracked & I could feel some tears rolling down my cheeks. "I wish I was joking but I'm not." She said. "Where are you know? Where's mom?" I asked panicking. "We are still at the hospital." She said. "I'm on my way!" I said & hung up. "Lauren, what happens? Why are you crying?" Laura asked worried. "My father... He-e is dead." I said crying as hard as someone could ever cry. "Omg... I'm so sorry Lauren! My condolences." Laura said almost crying & hugged me. I heard her sobbing. "Why ar-re you crying to-oo?" I asked sobbing. "Because you lost your father. I can't see you like this, I don't wanna see you suffer." Laura said crying. "Do you wanna come?" I asked. "Where?" She said confused. "To the hospital where my mom is." I said. She nodded. I took the keys & we both went outside & entered inside the car.
