I woke up, and Simon was still wrapped tightly around me. I yawned slightly, and felt his head move.
'You awake?' I whispered.
'Yeah.' he mumbled into my hair, 'You didn't have a nightmare.'
'I know.'
Simon nuzzled his neck into my shoulder, gripping onto me tightly, before he relaxed and stood up. He walked over to where his shirt was on the floor; he was still naked.
'No.' I muttered, still half-asleep. He smirked at me.
'Come back.' I moaned, and I saw him look at his shirt in his hand before he dropped it again and lay down next to me on the bed.
'Cuddle up.' he said, as I lifted myself so I could cuddle into his shoulder. He kept his arm wrapped protectively over me.
'Where did you go?' I whispered. I never specified when- but then, I didn't have to.
'Away.'
'Simon...'
'I went up to Scotland. I dotted around hotels, stayed in different towns every week.'
'Why?'
'Because I couldn't deal with looking in your eyes and seeing pain. I couldn't deal with hurting you. I thought that if you could get over me, you would be happy.'
'Did you mean what you said when you came home?'
'No.'
'Do you love me?'
'Yes.'
'Then I don't care where you went.'
Simon smiled, and leaned over to kiss me.
'I was never unhappy, Si. Not really. Not until you left.'
'We're gonna make it work this time.'
'Properly. No walking out, from either of us.'
'Do you love me, Josh?'
I sat up from his arm and looked down into his eyes, tracing his jaw with my finger.
'More than anything in the world.'
'More than Millwall?'
I grinned.
'Millwall doesn't call me beautiful when I wake up with sleep in my eye.'
'That's the only reason?'
'And I can't fuck Millwall.' I smirked, as I straddled the tall boy, my hands pressed against his shoulders.
'Nah, they already fucked themselves.' he managed to say, before I leaned down and kissed him.
Only to shut him up, I swear.~~
