"Cal are you ready?" You ask, slipping on your black vans.

"Yeah," he pokes his head through the door and smiles. "Ready to go out for ice cream?" He smiles, happiness radiating off of him.

"Yes Hood, now let's go!" You laugh, taking your best friends hand to drag him out the house.

When you get there you see a girl smile and run up to Calum, breaking us apart when she hugs him. I frown and look to the ground. She pulls away and smiles.

"Hi Calum!" She says and he laughs. You roll your eyes and take out your phone.

"Hey Nicole," he smiles. He looks to me and locks my phone by pressing the Button. I look to him and give him a look. "Nicole this is Jessie, Jessie this is Nicole,"

"Oh I didn't see you there!" She says. Of course you didn't. Your subconscious says, still pissed off at her rudeness and then pretending to not see you there.

"I can't say the same." You mustered out. Calum elbows you and you send him a glare.

"I'll go get us a table," she says walking into the parlor. I smile and then it drops when I realize what she meant by that. I turn to Calum when she leaves.

"What is she talking about?" You ask trying to remain calm.

"Oh I invited her to have ice cream with us. I thought you wouldn't mind," he explains.

"I mean I don't mind but I thought ice cream at the parlor was our thing?" You whined and he chuckles, putting an arm around your shoulder as an arm rest.

"It is. I just thought this time she could join us," You look away from him, finding interest in the kids walking out of the parlor with three tier ice creams.

"But the boys have a thing with you and it took us months to get this to ourselves!" He gives you a look and you give one back.

"Come on she saved us seats." You sigh and walk inside, leaving him outside. You sit on a side by yourself and Calum comes in ready to sit by you. Nicole sees this and touches his tattered arm and smiles.

"Calum I actually saved you a seat here." He looks to me with an apologetic look and takes a seat next to her. I look to my phone and replied to Ashton's text. Calum clears his throat and gets my attention. I look up to see the waitress waiting for our orders.

"Oh I'm sorry. I'll take a-" You begin but Nicole interrupts you.

"I'll take a triple fudge sundae with extra whip cream," She looks to me and smiles. I give a fake one back. "Calum aren't you going to order?" She asks, stoking his arm.

"Yeah I'll take a vanilla shake," He mumbles, still looking at the menu in concentration. He doesn't see what she's doing. She looks to me.

"Oh did I interrupt your order? I am so sorry." She says, fakeness clearly radiating in the way she spoke.

"It's okay. I'll take an Oreo blizzard," You say, smiling at the waitress she gives you an apologetic look, knowing what Nicole is doing before walking away.

"So Jessie. Are you and Calum a thing?" She asks and me and Calum coughs from choking on our spit.

I clear my throat and she gives me a look of disgust. But she turns to Calum and starts rubbing his chest to help him out. "Oh my god. Cal are you okay?" She asks trying to help him out.

"Yeah I'm fine."

"No we're not," I answer and she gives me a look.

"Excuse me?" She asks, not knowing what I'm talking about.
