Cancer (F) x Scorpio (M) Love Story

A/N: (Requested by @welcome2thequeendom) I hope you enjoy...and I hope this one won't be a total flop ;-; Also side note Aries is a boy in this one and Pisces is a girl.

"I don't like you anymore. I'm sorry."

Cancer couldn't believe what she just heard. Her boyfriend, Aries, breaking up with her? No. This couldn't be happening!

"W-What? What did I do wrong?" She asked the boy in front of her. Aries just shook his head and walked away, not caring about the light whimpering he heard as he stepped further and further away.

Cancer was heartbroken. It was so out of the blue! How could he break up with her like that? Her heart began to shatter as tears started to pool in her eyes. Wiping the stray tears from her cheeks, she ran home to where the other signs lived. She prayed that she wouldn't run smack-dab into Aries while on the way. She furiously unlocked the door and stormed into the house.

Taurus was sitting on the couch watching TV when she heard Cancer coming in. "Hey Canc- oh..."

Cancer glared at her with tear-stained eyes and stomped away into the room she shared with Pisces. She didn't want to talk to anyone except her roommate. She threw the door open and let out a small wail.

Pisces looked up from her laptop, happy to see her roommate, only to have her expression fall at the sad Cancer.

"P-Pisces..." Cancer cried, flopping onto the bed, holding onto her bedsheets.

Pisces became concerned. "Why? What happened, Cancer? Are you hurt? Are you sick?"

"Aries broke up with me!!!!!!"

"O-oh..." Pisces thought about it for a moment. In her heart, she knew that the relationship between Cancer and Aries wasn't going to last too long, but she never said a thing for fear of losing her friendships. She knew that this would happen- Cancer ending up heartbroken. "That jerk. He doesn't deserve you."

Cancer buried her face further into her blankets. "What did I do wrong? Why was it so sudden?"

Internally Pisces let out a sigh. "You did nothing wrong, okay? Trust me."

Suddenly the door creaked open. "C-Cancer? Are you okay?"

Pisces whirled her head around to find that the curious Scorpio had poked his head into the room. Her eyes lit up wide at the sight of him. Not because she herself liked him, but because she knew that Scorpio had liked Cancer even before her and Aries got together. He just wasn't quick enough to steal her heart. So since Cancer is now single, he can make his move!

Pisces sighed sadly. "No, she's not okay, actually." She looked up at Scorpio with a knowing look. "Aries broke up with her."

Scorpio closed his eyes and let out a slow, angry sigh. "I knew that bastard would do that to her. I just knew it." He paused and looked over at Cancer, a sad and crying mess. He felt his heart ache seeing her like that, knowing that if she had been dating him instead of Aries, all of this could have been avoided. But he couldn't tell her how he felt right now, not when she'd just gone through a breakup. He'd have to wait.

Instead, Scorpio left the room and went into the kitchen. He took out Cancer's favorite flavor of ice cream and scooped a generous portion into a bowl and added a spoon as well. He snuck quietly back into Cancer's room.

"Here, give this to her," he muttered to Pisces, thrusting the bowl at her.

Pisces shook her head. "No, you give it to her," she insisted.

Scorpio sighed, not wanting to add fuel to the fire. Gathering himself, he made the stride across the room and made it to Cancer's bedside. "Here," he said gently to Cancer. "I got you some ice cream."
