"Ready, set, --!" and the blow horn blew signalling the players to start the race.

"Okay, Eric! On one, two, three!" we both ran on the same pace as he counted.

For the paired up relay our leg should be tied together, so it looks like we have three legs.

The games have started and the entire school was very lively at all aspects.

We could all hear the loud shouts from everybody. It was deafening.

We were almost near the finish line when someone intentionally pushed me, causing me to fall down.

I felt a little stinging pain down below and saw my knee bleeding a bit.

It was supposed to be okay but...

"Get a room!"

"Love in the field!"

I landed on top of Eric and I think I swear my face is all red in shame.

Everyone started giggling and cheering on about our current state.

As if they have totally forgotten the race.

Bloody hell.

"Who the fudge pushed me?!" I yelled as I tried to stand but my leg was still tied Eric's making my attempt impossible.

"Sht," I hissed.

Eric giggled, "If I were you I might as well enjoy the experience," he winked at me and in return I hit him hard on the chest.

He made this weird 'oof' sound. Is he trying to be cute?

Yuck.

"Now don't move too much, you're wound might get worse," Eric warned me.

I rolled my eyes, "Fine."

"That btch has no right to be with Eric," I heard a girl comment. When I turned I realized it was the same person who pushed me.

Our classmates helped us stand up.

I stood up and patted off the dirt on my jogging pants, "Well why don't you replace me?" I snapped at her, "I'd love to swap places. And by the way you're acting you're pretty damn jealous darling," I grinned.

Her face was now all violet with rage and shame which made me chuckle mentally.

"Oh I will have Eric," she tried to smile but it was obviously she was embarrassed by my response.

I turned to my group and they all wore cheeky little grins.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing~" they all said in chorus.

On the corner of my eye I noticed Eric was pouting like a sad kid before I was completely dragged into our quarters for first aid.

The rest of the day was pretty normal. By normal I meant girls screaming everywhere as they see their favorite players. As for the men, well I guess they're on favor with any cheerleaders out there.

I started roaming around for patrol, its one of my duties as the freaking school president. Life couldn't get any better, well sarcastically speaking.

"Kate!" someone called out to me. I turned to see who it was, it was just a classmate of mine.

"Yes?" I raised an eyebrow as I continued to walk and he continued to follow me.

"Wanna see the fireworks together tonight? I know a pretty good spot," he smiled kindly. I looked at him.
