A/N:

I'm not sure if people are actually interested with this story but I'm writing it in memory of a friend of mine who died, but she always believed in love. :")

I was walking along the shoreline, letting the small waves brush on my foot.

Then I felt a hand around mine, interlocking it. I didn’t have to ask or turn to see, I knew it was him.

I tried to pull my hand away but it was no use, he kept holding it again and again.

I sighed in resignation.

“He’s on his way now,” I said, looking straightly at my own view.

For some reason I felt he smiled, “Yep, those two have been through a lot you know.”

“I know, and after listening to them both I know they fit each other,” I nodded in agreement.

I looked down then to Eric, “Eric what if those people who you think are stringed aren’t really your destined soul mate? I mean what if it’s just a starting point?” I don’t know why but my voice sounded a bit broke.

He squeezed my hand, “Even so I will always be with you until the end.”

When he said the end a shiver ran through my spine then I remembered he only had less than six months until he goes away.

“Yeah sure,” I mumbled.

He stopped walking, making me stop as well because our hands were still entwined.

“What’s the matter?” I turned to look at him, his eyes were piercing right through me, and I felt uneasy and turned away.

Just then as I was about to let go he pulled me onto his chest and embraced me tightly, “Always, no matter when or where,” he whispered and the warm afternoon wind blew with the scent of the salty sea.

*** MIA’S POV ***

“Wow that was great!” I said happily as we finished our little seafood feast.

Tofer smiled at me, “I’m glad you liked it.”

I blushed, “Thanks, really.”

He laughed; I noticed he had a dimple on his left cheek which made him look adorable, “Thank you for making my day and night a wonderful one.”

I smiled awkwardly, “Wow, you guys really speak so formally huh?”

He blinked and smiled, “That’s how we were taught, and yeah it’s weird,” he scratched the back of his neck.

Tofer is much better than Todd, but why is that even if someone else is in front of me my mind still can’t stop thinking about Todd?

I might be getting crazy.

I was surprised why I even liked Todd. He’s a bad ass football player, a pretty loud person and really stupid at most times.

“Mia, let’s take a short walk,” he stood up and offered his hand; I saw that most people stared at us.

“They look so sweet!”

“Aww, I wish my boyfriend was like that.”

“They look perfect together!”

I overheard the other people around the place and I felt myself blush in embarrassment as I took Tofer’s hand.

Tofer seemed to be enjoying it because he was smiling. He placed his arms around my waist and whispered, “They think we’re a couple.”
