"I can't believe that there's only ten days left till prom!" Mingyu exclaimed, dropping his bag next to his seat and sitting on top of Seokmin's desk.

"I know, I can't either," Seungkwan sighed. "I can't believe that Jeonghan was able to get us tickets too!"

"It's too bad that he couldn't get Chan a ticket," Seokmin frowned. "I'm thankful that Jeonghan got in the four of you guys who aren't dating upperclassmen, but it still sucks."

"Why couldn't he get him a ticket anyways?" Mingyu wondered.

"Apparently four free tickets was already too much for the head of the prom committee to give away to Jeonghan," Seungkwan explained. "They said that they're sorry, but they can't do anything more."

"Man, that sucks," Seokmin sighed. "I wish that there was some way we could still get him in."

"Me too," Mingyu agreed as Seungkwan nodded his head.

"Speaking of prom though, have Jisoo and Wonwoo asked you guys yet?" Seungkwan asked. "Hansol already asked me. Well, he tried, but he was a stuttering mess. I had to ask him."

"Really? Because, you know, I'm pretty sure Hansol had told me that you were the one who kept stuttering, so he was the one who had to ask you to prom," Mingyu grinned.

"Oh?" Seokmin smirked at Seungkwan.

"Damn it," Seungkwan rolled his eyes. "It's not like he wasn't a mess though. He couldn't get it out at all."

"They asked each other at the same time," Sun-young cut in as she joined their little group.

"Hey, Sun-young!" Mingyu smiled. "How're you?"

"That's right, we asked each other! I was less of a mess though," Seungkwan said.

"Is that true?" Seokmin asked Sun-young, and she nodded.

"Must've been because Hansol is younger. Honestly, I expected Seungkwan to be more nervous," Sun-young answered.

"Gee, thanks. What great friends I have," Seungkwan huffed.

"Did your boyfriends ask you yet?" Sun-young questioned, staring at Mingyu and Seokmin.

"Wonwoo did! It was so romantic. He took me out to dinner and told me a love poem that had reminded him of me," Mingyu swooned. "He actually asked me by getting the chefs to write 'Prom?' in icing on the dessert I ordered. It was heartwarming and delicious."

"What about you, Seokmin? Amber's already asked me," Sun-young said.

"Not yet," Seokmin sighed sadly. "I was thinking of asking him for a while, but Jeonghan told me that Jisoo was already planning something, so I decided to just wait it out. I'm getting kind of nervous though."

"There's still over a week left until prom. Don't be so disheartened yet!" Sun-young patted Seokmin on his back.

"I hope so," Seokmin replied.

"Seokmin, hey!" Jisoo called out, running up to Seokmin and grabbing his arm to stop him. "Can we hang out tonight?"

"Tonight? Sure, I'm free," Seokmin smiled excitedly. "Should I change?"

"No, I was just thinking we could watch movies together in my room or something," Jisoo said nervously. "That's okay, right?"

"Of course," Seokmin responded. "Let me just text my mom."

Seokmin's mom texted him back quickly, the contents of her message making him blush brightly enough to spark Jisoo's attention. Although, Seokmin tried to hide it, Jisoo was still able to read the text, and he soon looked as embarrassed as Seokmin had felt. The pair then walked home together, stopping by the orchestra room to get Jisoo's guitar.

"Why do you need that? Don't you usually bring it home on weekends?" Seokmin had asked.

"You'll see," Jisoo had replied confusingly.

"Hey, you never told me why you brought your guitar home. Are you gonna tell me now, or...?" Seokmin asked from where he was seated on top of Jisoo's bed. The pair had watched a few movies and done their homework, and they were now waiting for their takeout to arrive.

"Ah, right. Um, one second," Jisoo said. He took his guitar out of his case and tuned it quickly while Seokmin looked on obliviously.

"Okay, so–I, um, wow, this is more difficult than I thought it would be," Jisoo laughed nervously. "Um, so the first time we met, you had wanted me to play the guitar for you, right? And, well, I was kinda embarrassed and scared, but eventually, you got me to do it. It was so easy to open up to you and then to other people."

"Jisoo-hyung," Seokmin whispered quietly, his eyes shining hopefully.

"I've made so many friends because of you. I'm sure that I would've met them all through Jeonghan and Seungcheol eventually, but because of you, I was able to come out of my shell earlier and meet people. I don't know why, but for some reason, I felt so shy and out of place when I first came here. So, what I'm trying to say is thank you. Thank you for making conversation with me that day, for becoming my friend even though I was so awkward and quiet, and for being such an amazing boyfriend. I really, really like you, Seokmin," Jisoo finished.

"I like you too," Seokmin told him. Jisoo smiled.

"You wanted to know why I brought my guitar home, right? I wrote a song for you. It's not a professional song, and it's actually pretty short, but I still think it's okay enough. I hope that you'll like it," Jisoo said. He started to play some chords on his guitar.

Seokmin listened to Jisoo sing and play his song contently, enjoying the way Jisoo's soft voice perfectly matched his beautiful playing. Seokmin couldn't believe how talented his boyfriend was. Jisoo had written this? It was good enough to be played on the radio! Seokmin smiled sweetly and swayed along to the music, clapping loudly when Jisoo finished singing the last note of the song.

"What did you think?" Jisoo stared at him timidly.

"Remind me why you aren't an idol again? I mean, you've got the looks and the talent down," Seokmin teased. "It was amazing."

"Thanks," Jisoo blushed. "Oh, I almost forgot to ask! Will you go to prom with me?"

"I'll have to think about it," Seokmin grinned cheekily.

"If you say no, you're paying for dinner," Jisoo replied, and as if on cue, the doorbell rang.

"Okay, I'll go with you," Seokmin decided, pulling Jisoo into a short yet sweet kiss.

"You're still paying for dinner though."

"Damn."
