Jay Garrick x Teen Reader

You were walking home from school, you heard a scream, you turn around and saw meta-human, he punched the ground. You fell, the Meta came over to you, and punched you, causing you to bleed. "No one can hear you scream little girl." The meta says. He hits you a few times causing your vision to get a little blurry. Before he can do anything else, you feel wind in your face, a flash of lightning. "Leave the kid alone." A mans voice says. Your vision gets a little better, as you see man, wearing a suit and helmet standing there. "Back for more." The meta says. "Let her go." He says. "Nah, I'm having fun." The meta says. The man in red goes to punch the meta, but instead of it hitting the meta, the meta punched him back causing the man in red to go flying. The meta came back over to you and punched you so hard that you couldn't get up. "Your hero can't help you." He says. The man in red grabs a pipe and hits the meta knocking him out, he notices your injured and races to your side. "Kid you okay?" He asks. You don't respond. The man in red picks you up in his arms, and you wrap your hands around his neck. He then takes you to a building, where a woman was. "Caitlin..." "Oh my god is she alright?" The woman asks. The man lays on a bed, your vision still a little blurry. "Kid, your gonna be alright." The woman checks you. "Jay her vision is a little blurry, geomancer hit her pretty hard, I'll have to check for an concussion." The woman says. "Can you tell me your name?" The man asks. "Y/N..." You mumble. "Okay, Y/N your gonna be okay, stay with me okay." The woman says. You slowly pass out. Jay POV: The girl passed out, Caitlin had to run some tests so I stayed with her until she woke. She had Y/H/C (your hair color) and Y/E/C (your eye color), she couldn't of been more than 15 or 16 years old. I had seen her at the park a few times, she was always alone, she'd sit under a tree and read a book. I wondered if this kid had any friends, I'm glad I saved her. Caitlin came back in. "Hey is she awake yet?" Caitlin asks. "No, are you sure she'll be okay, geomancer messed her up pretty bad." I say. "Yeah, I did a MRI and she'll be fine, she has a few scars but besides that she's fine." Caitlin says smiling. "Do you know anything about her?" I ask. "Well I looked up her address, and it lead me to St.Gabriel's." Caitlin says. "That's a orphanage on my earth, well it's been empty for years." I say. "Well it's still in business here, Jay she's a orphan, if she would of died no one would of cared." Caitlin says. I looked at the the young girl with sympathy, I knew what it felt like. "No friends?" "No, not one...poor kid." Caitlin says. Your POV: You awoke to the man who had saved you, the woman walked by your side. "Where the hell am I?" You ask. You feel your head, it was killing you. "Your at star labs, I'm Caitlin and that's Jay, you were attacked, do you remember what happened?" Caitlin asks. "Yeah, I was walking home from school, when some meta-human jumped me then he saved me." You say. "You have a slight concussion, but you'll be fine, you'll need to get some rest." Caitlin says. You nod, and look over at the man. "Thank you." You say. "Of course, that meta had a lot of guts attacking a kid." Jay says. "You don't have any family or friends do you?" Caitlin asks. You look at your feet. "No..." You reply emotionless. Your parents disappeared the night of the particle accelerator explosion, you had no one else to stay with. You went to the police many times, but they turned you down, telling you they were dead, but you denied it for awhile. "Caitlin, maybe I could adopt her?" Jay says. "Really?" You say. "Jay, I don't know...would you be willing to, it's a big responsibility raising a kid." Caitlin says. "Yes, Caitlin she has no one." Jay says. "Y/N, how do you feel about Jay adopting you?" Caitlin asks. You smile. "I'd love it." You say. And that was it you were finally gonna have a home, you loved Jay as an older brother. He told you about Barry, and the other earths, you dreamed of going there some day. One day you came home from school, blood coming from your nose, Jay came to your side. "Y/N, again?" He asks. You laugh and jay looks at you funny. "Don't worry I fought back this time, you should see the other guy, lets just say he'll be out for a while." You say. Jay comes over and gives you a big hug. "that a girl." He says. You hug him back. "I'm glad you adopted me Jay...I love you." You say. Hunter thought to himself, he cared for this girl so much, he knew what being alone felt like. She was so strong, funny and confident, he wouldn't have it any other way. "Love you too Y/N." A/N: Finally did a Jay one yay, I'll try to get some more updated 😊
