Ray Palmer x Teen Reader

It was a normal boring day on the wave rider, Rip was back and normal again, the legion of doom were still after the sphere of destiny. Oh boy. You walked into the console room where Ray was doing some repairs on the wave rider. "Oh hey Y/N." he said looking up at you. You plopped into the seat next to him, it was boring, everyone went out for drinks and you had to stay behind because you were under-age as they say. "I'm bored." You exclaimed. Your voice echoed through the ship. Ray sat down next to you, he was covered in sweet and dirt from working on the ship. "I know Y/N." He replied. You sighed. "No ray you don't understand everyone else always get to have all the fun while I'm stuck being babysat." You frowned. Ray gave you a pat on the back and smiled then said, "Oh come on Y/N it's not bad..." You rolled your eyes and decided that get something to eat. Mick walked into the kitchen and grabbed another beer from the fridge. "Don't you think you drink a little too much Mick, I mean that's what your sixth today...you have a problem." You said. He stared you down, it was that pissed off look he has then walked out. The ship was landed in some time and you decided to get some fresh air. You went to the door when Ray walked into the cargo bay and stared. "Where are you going?" He asked. He squinted his eyes suspicious. You hesitated. 'Damn so close' You thought to yourself. "Uh....nowhere..." Ray walked closer to you. "Nowhere sure, Gideon what was Y/N about to do, answer honestly." Ray asked the A.I "Y/N was about to go outside to explore Dr.Palmer, shall I lock down the ship for security?" Ray sighed. "No that's alright Gideon, Y/N why do you want to go out it's not safe for you to be out." You shrugged, "Fresh air...look Ray please just let me go for a walk I'm bored and need to get out of this stupid ship! No offense Gideon." You say. "None taken." She replied. Ray nodded then sighed once more as he was going to regret what he was about to say. "Fine you can go for a walk but I am coming with you besides I wouldn't mind getting some fresh air." Ray replied. You smiled and, gave him a small hug and he chuckled a bit, you grabbed your jacket and headed out. The wind blowing through your hair, the birds chirping and the fresh fall air felt good. "It feels so good to be off that ship and actually enjoy nature you know? Maybe we should get food?" Ray suggested. You shrugged your shoulders and, nodded, you were quite hungry and wanted some real food. As you were walking down the sidewalk you felt the hairs on the back of your neck. "Dr.Palmer...Y/N..." A voice said from behind you. You and Ray turned around and it was Malcolm Merlyn and Damien Darhk. "Oh no." Ray mumbled to himself. He went to reach for his suit when the speedster grabbed you by the neck tightly. "I wouldn't do that." Eobard warned. "Let her go." Ray said, surrendering and putting his hands up. Damien chuckled. "No can do me and my associates need her for our genius plan to getting the rest of the sphere." You struggled a bit and you could hardly breath and felt yourself going unconscious. You felt yourself fall when Ray raced to your side and caught you in his arms as you fainted. "Y/N?!" Damien and Malcom pointed their laser guns at Raymond and motioned for him to walk. "Try anything and we shoot you and then we kill the girl." Malcolm threatened. They lead ray to their secret hideout and locked him up, you were laying on a bed sleeping. "Why does the legion of doom need a kid?" Ray asked. Malcom and Damien chuckled a bit at the name as they seemed to like it. "Her powers...they are what's the word special, this device will control her every thought." Eobard said. Rays eyes widen at the thought of the legion of doom using his Y/N as a weapon. He wouldn't let them hurt you, even if that meant risking the sphere of destiny. You slowly opened your eyes. "Ow...R-Ray?" You said sitting up on the bed, then you saw the legion and frowned. Eobard walked over to you. "Good you're awake do you know why I brought you here Y/N, the reason I'm keeping you alive?" He asked you. You shook you head as you had no idea why they needed a teenager. "No...why?" You asked raising a brow. "Because, Y/N you have special powers that we could use to our advantage. To get the sphere." He said. That didn't sound good at all, god knows what they would do with a device of that much power?! "No way I won't let you!" You sneered as your eyes red. His two friends laughed. "Aww that's cute she thinks she can use her little powers on us, how adorable." Damien said in a taunting baby-like voice. That made you even more angry all, you made the weapons around them float showing them you weren't kidding. Eobard raced to Rays cell and, put a vibrating hand to his chest where his heart was. "Leave him alone Thawne!" You yelled. He smirks, "Try anything and I'll kill him without a second thought besides it's not like they would miss this loser anyway." Ray looked angry and, offended at the same time, you put the weapons down. The speedster released Ray and, sighed in relief, he walked back over to you then, kneeled to your eye level. "Now you're going to do as say or your friends I will kill all of them and make you watch. It that understood?" You nod telling him that you understood what he was capable of. He stood. "Good, now Mr.Darhk, Mr.Meryln will you escort Mr.Palmer outside I have work to do with our special friend." Eobard said grinning. They grabbed Ray and walked him out of the their hideout. Eobard grabbed something, you recognized it as the thing they used on Rip. "What is that?" You asked as he walked towards you. "This is a device that will allow me to rewrite your thoughts, turn you into one of us." Thawne said. As he walked to you, you couldn't go anywhere or do anything. "That's not such a good idea." He chuckled. "Why not?" He asked. You sighed maybe you could convince him to not use the device if he did all hell would break lose. "I don't always have control over my powers and if you use that thing on me you'll regret it." He kneeled once more now staring you in the face, making you uncomfortable. "Go on...I see you're dying to tell me." He replied. "I have a dark side, when I got my powers I had to lock the darkest parts of me away, if she was to get out she would wreck havoc to get it." You say. "Well..that's exactly what we need, the key to getting the sphere, unlocking your dark alter-ego." Eobard said. You smirked and he still wasn't getting the point. "You idiot, can't you see..if you unlock her she'll just try to kill you and take the sphere for herself. She doesn't care about helping you." You replied. He vibrated his hand and, put it close to your heart, "She would be dead before you get out of that door if she tried." He warned, his eyes glowed. You huffed and thought of a genius plan you hoped would work, you sighed. "Fine go ahead." You say crossing your arms. He smirked and put the device on you head once he did you blacked out, Malcom and Damien walked in. "So, have you done it yet?" Damien asked impatiently. Eobard nodded, "Just about...there we go...that should do the trick now gentlemen let's see what she can do." Your eyes opened. "Y/N are you ready for your mission?" Eobard asked as he allowed you to stand up. You smiled evilly, "Yes I am." Damien chuckled, "Ah there we go, I knew she had a sinister side inside her, the mission is simple we distract the legends and you get the sphere." You nodded and, skipped off to find the wave rider. Malcom stood skeptical, "How do you know she won't turn?" Eobard turned his to associate who had his arms crossed and didn't seem to believe the plan would work. "Trust me, it will work she's the strongest, she just hasn't realized it until today."      Ray POV: I arrived back on the ship and walked into the main room where the team was gathered. "Ray?" Sara asked. "Guys we have a little problem, and, by little I mean a very big problem, the legion of doom took Y/N."  Sara stared surprised. "What, Ray what happened you were supposed to be watching her, where did they take her?" I thought for a second. "I don't know, they knocked me out and I don't remember." I replied. Sara sighed. "Alright we figure this out." She said. "Hold on why would the legion of doom kidnap a teenage girl, is it just me or does that seem a little odd?" Jax said. Martin nodded in agreement as I did too it did seem a bit off they would use a kid for their evil plan. "It does seem odd but whatever it is it isn't going to be good." Nate replied. The team nods. Everyone starts working on a plan to track the legion, I go Into the other room to think for a moment. A few minutes passed and Sara sat down beside me, noticing I seemed upset. "Ray, are you alright?" Sara asked. I nod my head but she noticed that I wasn't. "I'm fine." I replied. She sighed, "Ray this isn't your fault we'r going to get Y/N back I won't let them hurt her, okay?" I nodded. "I should of been more careful I mean she's just a kid Sara, god knows what they are doing." I buried my face in my hands, Sara put a hand on my back. "Ray, Y/N is a brave girl you out of all people should know that, Rip recruited her for a reason. It's because, he knew how strong she was." I nodded, Sara was right, I saw Y/N stand up to horrible people and she once never backed down, not to mention all the times she saved me. "You're right, she is and i know she'll do what's right, she won't let them get to her." I say. "Guys get up here like now!" Jax yelled into the loud speaker. Me and Sara raced up stairs and Y/N was standing there...unharmed and ok. "Y/N you escaped?" That's amazing how?" I asked pulling her small figure into a tight hug. She pulled out and, smiled. "I don't know luck I guess." She replied. Sara walked over to Y/N. "Yeah I guess but that means that the legion is going to try to steal the sphere." I nodded, Gideon came up on the console. "It seems Mr.Thawne and his friends are here." She said. The team got ready to fight as I ran out of the room Y/N followed. "Y/N stay here." I told her in my serious tone. She nodded as I went outside. Your POV: Ray was gone and you were finally alone on the wave rider, you searched each room while the legion kept them distracted. You finally came upon Mick Rory's room where you found a box, about the size of a stick. You opened and smiled as the sphere was sitting there, you picked it up. "What do you think you're doing in here." Mick said from behind. You quickly turned around and he was standing at the door, he looked pissed off. "Nothing." He walked closer, "Doesn't look like nothing and, what are you doing with the sphere?" "Making sure it's safe, what does it look like?" You asked. He took the sphere from your hands and pulled out his heat gun. "It's look like to me that you are gonna steal the sphere and give it to the legion." Mick replied. You rolled your eyes and sigh. "Fine you got me, I didn't think an idiot like you would find out, and what are you going to do about it?" You said. "This." He said shooting his gun. But, you ducked out of the way and used you Telekenesis to take it from him. "Nice try". You said, then knocking him out. You grabbed the sphere and ran through the hallways before they saw you. Ray stepped in front of you, dressed in his atom suit, you stopped as well. "Move out of the way Ray." You demanded. "Y/N please this isn't you, I know the legion brain washed you, just give me the sphere." Ray said. You laugh. "What are you going to do?" You asked. Next thing you knew Eobard was standing next to you and he grabbed the sphere. You turned to him, "Did I do good?" You ask with a smirk. He smiled and, nodded, Ray raised his gun. "Let her go..." Ray demanded. Eobard laughed, "Oh...I am not making her do anything you see all I did was unleash her dark side well mostly. If she wanted to leave she could." Ray looked surprised that this was your dark side, he had never thought. "He's right I would love to stay and chat but, you know I have people to kill, things to do as I am quite busy." You say. Ray frowned as he couldn't believe the good in you was gone. And with that he took off with you and the sphere but little did Thawne know you had a trick or two up your sleeve. He took you back to the warehouse where his friends were standing. "Well...are they dead or not?" Damien asked. Eobard shook his head he was too busy staring at the the sphere to answer. "Well if you don't mind me and Damien are going out for drinks." Malcolm says. Eobard didn't respond and Malcolm and, Damien headed for the door, you did too. Malcom stopped you. "You are staying here with Thawne little missy." He said. You crossed your arms. "I'm not little I'm almost sixteen thank you very much." You say. Damien patted your head as if you were a small dog, you scoffed. "That is little." He replied. Then the two of them left, Eobard was still staring at the sphere, you sighed and sat down. "Everyone always leaves me behind I'm just the tin dog nobody cares about." You say. Even evil you hated feeling left out, I guess it didn't matter. Eobard frowns, he was upset, he must of knew about your genius plan. Suddenly he was face to face with you and he was very angry and was ready to kill someone. "Where Is it?!" He yelled. "Where's what?" You asked pretending you didn't know a thing. He grabbed you by the shirt collar and raised his hand. "The sphere, where is it I know the one you brought was a fake, now tell me now or I will kill you in front of your friends." He threatens. "You'll never find it, you might as well kill me." You say sarcastically. He let go of you and began to throw things across the room. "You stupid little girl, do you have any idea what you have caused me?!" Eobard yelled across the room. You laughed, "I don't know stress..." Damien and, Malcolm walked in the room and, saw that he was extremely pissed off. "Calm down what did we miss?" Malcom asked walking over to him. "That little brat gave us a fake sphere I should kill her right now without a second thought!" He yelled. The door bursts down and the legends ran inside and, started to fight, Ray came over you. "Y/N come on." He said, as you stood up. You followed Ray back to the wave-rider and the team followed and quickly shut the door. Mick grabbed you from behind and out your arms behind your back which hurt a lot. "Ow!" You yelled. Ray came up. "Y/N, is this the real you, the good you I mean not your sinister dark and evil side." You nodded, "Yes Ray it's me, look the me you saw at first yes I was being controlled but then I realized I was. If was all a act, you really think I would give the legion the sphere?" The legends shared a look, Sara walked over to you. "You are smart after all, so if you didn't give them the sphere then, where is it?" She asked. "In Micks room where its always been I'm nothing like them you all know that." You said. The team nodded, after a long day you needed a rest. You went to your room. But it didn't last long because, Ray walked in and sat next to you. Only this time he had a sad look on his face. "Hey, um can we talk?" He asked and you nodded. He took your hands, you had never seen him like this, he seemed like he had a lot on his mind. "Ray?" He sighed. "Y/N I'm sorry about all of this, you getting kidnapped and, them controlling you, I shouldn't of been so stupid." Ray said lowering his head. "Ray this is not your fault, please don't blame yourself okay, I'm safe and here now." You say giving him a smile. You lifted his chin and saw a small smile on his face. He nodded and you hugged him and he to your surprised hugged you back. "Thanks Y/N..." Ray said. "No problem you big dork." You said with a laugh. A/N: Sorry its long...
