You were sitting in star labs, Barry and Harry and Cisco went to earth 2. You were a speedster from earth two just like Jay, you And him were close, he was like a big brother to you, he saved you many times. You had failed, someone had died because you weren't fast enough to stop him, you went into ciscos office and began to cry. "Y/N..." You hear a voice say. It was Jay, he must of heard you crying, and came to check on you." "Oh hi jay." You reply. You didn't want him to see you like this, you had to be strong, for your mom.  "Are you okay?" He asks. "I'm fine." You say. You wipe the tears from your cheek, but Jay sits beside you, he puts a hand on your shoulder, trying to comfort you. "You can tell me, you can trust me." He says. "Jay, someone died today because I wasn't fast enough, he was 17, if I can't save someone from a burning building or a robber how the hell am I supposed to stop zoom?" You say. He sighs. "Kid, don't blame your yourself, it's not your fault, think of it as a way to help you, like when you fail a quiz you keep going until you get it right, believe me I've had my fair share of deaths." Jay says. "Yeah, but you've been doing this longer than I have, I mean your smart, tough and I'm just some kid pretending to me a superhero.." You say. He puts his hand over yours. "Y/N, you are the most badass teenage girl I know, the past few months have been hard for me, I mean zoom stealing my speed, Barry going to my earth, but I've watched you battle meta-humans and never be afraid, I mean what girl your age gets to do such a thing..." Jay says. "Your right, thanks Jay." You reply. You give him a hug, you feel his arms wrap around you, you trusted him so much. "You know after all that's going on I really needed a hug, and if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here." Jay says. You smile and nod. "How about me and you go get some ice cream, that always cheers me up." You say. Jay smirks, you and him go into the cortex where Caitlin was working on something. "What put you two in a good mood, did I miss something?" Caitlin says. "No, um me and jay are going to get ice cream wanna join us?" You ask. "I'm really busy, and plus someone has to watch the breach..." Caitlin says. You and jay headed to a local ice cream shop and got some food. "My parents when I was little used to bring me here well on our earth." Jay says. "Your parents...all these months we've been working together you've never talked about them why is that?" I ask. "It's complicated..." He says looking down. "I watched Zoom kill my parents right in front of me, my mom and dad worked for Mercury labs...one day he attached them, I thought he was gonna kill me too." You say. "My dad, it was long ago, I was 11, he came back from the war and he murdered my mom, I spend my childhood in an orphanage." Jay says. "I'm sorry I asked." You say feeling guilty. "That's okay, it was long ago, I'm sorry I couldn't save your parents." Jay says. "We all have to move on..." You say. Caitlin calls. 'Hello' 'Hey Y/N, can you and Jay get my to star labs, I need to talk to him.' 'Um yeah of course bye  Caitlin' Jay looks at you. "Caitlin needs us at star labs." You say. You headed back, where Caitlin was standing, smiling. "Jay I have some great news, I did some scans and your cells have healed, your okay." Caitlin says. Jay goes over to her and smiles. "Caitlin your brilliant..." They kiss. "Aww...." They look at you strange. "What?" "Nothing, but that means once Barry stops zoom me and Y/N can go back to earth 2." Jay says. "Yeah..." "And that's means I have to go back to working alone..." You say looking at your feet. "I mean you could always stay with me, I mean have an extra room besides you still have some training to do." Jay says. "Yeah that'd be great." A/N: need some ideas for more Jay/Hunter imagines, he's one of my favorite earth two characters
