Chapter 20 Misunderstanding

" Jane wake up . " I felt someone shook my body . I groaned before I lifted up my head from my desk .

" What ? " I asked as I rubbed my eyes.

" Are you okay ? " Taehyung asked as he looked at me worriedly.

" Ya , I'm fine . " I replied as I laid my head back on my desk .

" No . You don't. You look so .... sick . " He stated as he tucked my hair behind my ear.

" Nah . I think I'm just overslept." I replied and gave him an assure smile. But it didn't affected him.

He still looked worried as he stroked my back.

" Do you want me to send you home ? "

" No . Its okay . I'm fine. " I replied as I got up .

" Where are you going ? " He asked as he grabbed my wrist. I could see concern in his eyes.

" I need to go to the restroom. I'll be right back " I said as I ruffled his hair and walked out from the class.

" I look so terrible . " I said to myself as I looked at my reflection in the mirror in the restroom. My face was really pale. I looked like a zombie. I had big bags under my eyes . I opened the tap and washed my face. I tied my hair into a ponytail and fixed my uniform.

I coughed a few times when I felt something in my throat . Its annoyed me . I decided to walk to my locker to grab my bottle. I always kept a bottle of water in my locker just in case I would need it .

I got out from the restroom and walked through the hallway , heading to locker . But before I could get to my locker . Dizziness approached me . My world was spinning . I put my hand at the wall , trying to support my body . My legs wanted to give up on me.

Suddenly the pain attacked my body . I let out a yelp and fell to the ground. The hallway was empty . I wanted to scream for help but the was nothing came out from my throat.

The black dots started filling my sight . But before I could close my eyes someone screamed my name.

" Jane ! " I saw Mark running towards me . But before he could reach me , I blacked out.

I woke up with a big headache. The sound of people arguing filled the room . My sight still blurry. I rubbed my eyes to get a better sight . I could saw Taehyung and Mark gripping each other collar .

" What is going on here ? " I asked as I sat up slowly .

" Jane . " Both of them said in unison as both of them running to my sides.

" Are you okay ? " Taehyung asked as he took my small hand . While Mark on the other hand helped me putting the pillow behind me .

" Are you okay ? " Mark asked as he settled down beside me.

" I'm fine guys . " I replied and gave him a small smile.

" What happened ? Where have you been ? I was so worried when I saw him carried you into here " Taehyung asked as he pointed at Mark.

" You scared the crap out of me. " He said as he kissed my temple.

" Sorry . " I apologized .

" It's okay . But wait  " He stopped , made me to snap my head to him.

" What ? " I asked him as I furrowed my eyebrows to him.

" You said you want to go to the restroom but how - " He stopped again.

" How what ? "

" Did you lie to me ? " He asked made my eyes widened.

" What ? No . What make you think like that ? " I replied , defending myself.

" Because you were with him. He was the one who brought you here . " He said as his eyes darkened.

" What ? Okay I think you're misunderstanding this . "

" What misunderstanding ? It's clear right . You were with him before you passed out. " He said , clenching his jaws.

" No . I wasn't with him. He found me in the hallway when I passed out . " I said as I tried to reach him but he slapped my hand away.

"Bullshit . " He snapped which made me shocked.

I looked at my side to Mark's direction. He sat still , didn't bother to say anything . He looked like he was enjoying the drama.

" Tae , you need to calm down okay . " I said as I turned my attention to Taehyung.

" Calm down ? You want me to calm down when I found my girlfriend cheating behind me . " He yelled .

" Cheating ? What ? No . I - "

" Just shut the fuck up Jane. He was your ex . What do you expect me to think ? " He cut me off . Before I could respond , Junior emerged from the door.

" Why no one tell me that my sister passed out in the hallway?" He asked as he walked towards me.

" Are you okay ? " He asked me and I nodded in return.

Taehyung took the chance to get out from the room . He slammed the door behind him hardly made me jumped a little.

" What is wrong with him ? " Junior asked as he walked to my side.

" I need to go after him. " I said as I stood up and walked out from the door .

Before I closed the door , I heard Mark called me . I fastened my steps , running towards Taehyung who was walking through the hallway.

" Taehyung , wait . " I shouted as I ran towards him.

He didn't replied , ignoring me and kept walking. When I reached him , I grabbed his hand and turned him to face .

" Tae wait . "

" Wait for what ? "

" Let me explain , okay . "

Before he could respond , I noticed his eyes turned to black as he kept staring behind me. I turned around only to see Mark walking towards us.

" Look like your soon to be boyfriend is coming . " Taehyung said sarcastically before he turned on his heel and walked away .

" What ? Tae wait - " I tried to go after him when Mark grabbed my hand.

" What the hell ? Mark let me go." I said as I tried to get out from his grip . But he tightened the grip instead of letting me go.

" Let him go . He need to calm down. " Mark said calmly.

I looked at Tae who stopped from walking as he staring at us before he disappeared from my sight.

" Taehyung . " His name came out from my mouth as a tear dropped from my eyes .
