 "No way!" My sister, Yeeun exclaimed as she placed her hand over her mouth. 

I smiled at her reaction, and looked over to my parents who shared  equally shocked expressions at the news of my pregnancy, as well as Taehyung's family.

At first, there was silence in the air, but it was soon broken as mayhem filled the air.

"I'm going to be a grandmother!" My mom cried happily as she stood up, and came towards me and gave me a great big hug.

"Well I'm going to be a grandma too!" Taehyung's mother also said as she came and joined the hug, while my dad and Taehyung's father shook hands. 

Taehyung's sister, and brother and Yeeun were all celebrating on their own as they jumped around like little kids in a circle in joy.

"What are you doing standing there? Get in the hug too," My mother said to Taehyung as she pulled him to the hugging group, and I laughed at his blank expression before he knew what happened and joined the hug too.

After what seemed like an hour to get everyone to settle down, I told to tell them that I was pregnant for 13 weeks, and I wanted to keep it secret until when we think it would be the best time to tell them.

"When are you going to tell your company about the news? And the boys?" Taehyung's sister asked Taehyung.

"I'm planning on telling them in person this upcoming weekend since we have an event together on a campaign that we're doing. Then I'll let my manager know." Taehyung says as he put his arm around my shoulders, and pulled me closer to him as we sat on the couch. 

"And... after that?" Taehyung's mother said as she raised her eyebrows as she looked at Taehyung. 

He smiled at her, and turned to look at me, and gave me one of sweet smiles.

"then... I'll announce to the whole world that my precious wife is pregnant with our child." 

"Omo..." My mother says as she put her hands on her face at his sweet but cringy line.

"Ha. My precious." Taehyung's brother says in a raspy voice to his sister, and they both started to laugh out loud.

"Well I'm glad that you have everything planned out exactly," Taehyung's mother sighed in relief and looked at me.

"Goodness, I still can't believe that you're pregnant."

"I can't either!" I say, and everyone laughed.

"Yeah it was a really big surprise to us, for sure." Taehyung says as he cleared his throat and I gave him a humorous look.

"I remember being pregnant with Taehyung. Boy he was a strong kicker..."

His mother clicked her tongue as she crossed her arms. 

"See? I came out as a strong baby," He says as he started to show off his muscles and his mom and dad told him to stop it.

"My Sujin... when she was in my womb, it was as if she was hibernating through winter or something. I barely felt a kick, and whenever I did, I was so happy about it. I would call it a love kick." My mother sighed as she recollected her memories.

"But when the other one came," My mother says as she looked at my younger sister. "She was a fighter." 

"Omma!" My sister cried out, and we laughed at her expression.

"I wonder how this one will be," I say as I looked down at my stomach which there was a small bump that had formed.

"Our baby is about the length of a pea pod right now." 

"Awe! That's so adorable," My sister exclaimed as looked between her thumb and pointer finger. "Then it must be only this tiny... that's so cute!" 

"In overall... I wish the two of you the best of this new journey of parenthood. Just remember, if you need help in any sort of way... we are also your parents. We've been though it before so we know the experience. " Taehyung's father said, and that warmed my heart. 

There was several more rounds of discussions, and before we knew it, it was getting late and Taehyung and I had to go home.

"Thank you so much... every single on of you here for supporting our happy news." Taehyung says as we walked though the front door, where everyone was standing around us.

"Oh don't thank us! We're so happy about the new baby... oh my goodness." Taehyung's mother says as she started to get emotional. 

"Omma! Don't cry..." Taehyung says as reached over to comfort her. 

"I just can't believe that my baby is going to have a baby of his own." She said as she wiped her tears away with the back of her hand as she hugged Taehyung. 

"We feel the same too," My mother says as she took my hand in hers. "Take care of yourself and the baby, alright? If you need help, or crave any food, I can cook up something." 

"I love you mom," I say to her, and she smiled up at me. 

"I love you too. So much," She said and gave me a hug, while my dad patted my back.

While in the car to go back home, I couldn't help but release all the emotions that were bundled up inside of me and let them spill in front of Taehyung.

"Hey, hey... what's wrong?" Taehyung asked me worriedly as we stopped at a red light. 

I wiped my tears from my eyes, but they just kept on spilling down. For one, I didn't know what made me feel this emotional, but I guess it was one of the cons of being pregnant. 

For two...

"I feel sad." I say truthfully.

"Why are you sad?" He asked me. 

"Because I'm becoming a mother of my own." 

I say simply, not knowing how else I would explain it. 

When you are born, you always had a mother, or a father, or a family member care for you throughout your childhood, and you never thought that one day, you'll become like them... but as you get older, marry, and have children of your own... you start to realize you can never go back to those days of your youth again.
