~6 Months Later~

Snow falls around me, landing in my hair and onto my clothes.

I should be happy, that I got my bending back and I'm alive, even more so that I'm a being of the Spirit World. Yet. I feel sad and angered.

Narrowing my eyes, the snow stopped around me, staying in mid air.

Now, even though I can bend again, I'm filled with this power. This power of bloodbending that I never knew I had. There's no way I could talk to Aunt Katara, what I've heard, she's never used it after her fight with Hama, which was decades ago. I can't talk to Amon about it because after he was revealed as who he really was, he fled with Tarrlock, thus leaving me utterly alone.

I release my hold onto the snow, letting it fall freely.

It's been 6 months since Amon took control of the city. Since then, Korra regained her bending, using her new power to give it back to those who had lost it.

After Korra was better, her and everyone left to go back to the city, while Grandma and I stayed here. Aunt Katara said she wanted to see my power and observe it, which the others pressed upon me. I missed them all terribly, even Leinani, but luckily the spirits festival was coming up soon could see them.

"Dakota?" Aunt Katara says, making me look up.

"Are they here yet?" I ask, hoping she'll say yes.

"No, I'm afraid not, but they should be here soon, I was just fetching you so we could wait at the dock together" she says, making me look back off into the distance. The ocean was calm, yet within me, I felt something...dark stirring.

"Want to race me to the dock?" I ask, a small grin appearing on my face. "I'm too old for this, so prepare to win" Katara says before turning and walking towards the dock.

Still holding a smile, I walk towards the edge of the cliff. I jump into the water, where a large funnel is waiting to catch me. Quickly lowering myself to the water, my feet form a small ice board. To which I lift my arms, causing small yet strong waves to propel me to the dock.

As I step onto the dock, letting the ice melt away, my jaw drops as Aunt Katara smiles.

"H-How?" I ask, making her shake her head "Some things are just a secret."

Rolling my eyes, Katara's daughter, Kya and Grandma walk up, the two talking up a storm.

"Hey Dakota" Kya says kindly "How are you doing?".

"I'm just excited to see the others" I respond before a horn goes off.

A smile forms on my lips as a large ship approaches. I was excited to see everyone; well besides Leinani, but that wasn't the point.

"Bolin!" I call out as the earthbender walks out onto the dock.

My arms wrap around his waist before pressing my lips to his hungrily.

"I missed you Dakota" Bolin whispers, running his hand through my hair. With a smile, I embrace him tightly, making him sigh. "I missed you too, now, wait right here" I say, before pulling away from his hold.

"Korra! Mako!" I call out, before embracing the two.

Rubbing my hair, Mako smiles "Good to see you sidekick, how have you been feeling?".

Moving my head from his grip, I respond "Better, alot better. This whole, half spirit thing isn't that bad".

"I guess we're both half spirits" Korra chuckles before hugging me again "I missed you Dakota, it wasn't the same in the city without you".

"Hey, is that crowd for us?" Bolin asks, joining the conversation. Leinani simply watched, uneasy.

"Uh, no. They came to greet them." Korra states as a royal ship arrives.

I cross my arms, I've met the Chief of the Northern Tribe only a few times, and I wasn't impressed. Although Korra seemed to somewhat love him, though I favored her father's opinion on him.

"The great chief of the Northern Water Tribe comes to grace us with his presence. Hooray." Tonraq states, making me nod in agreement. "The only reason I really even like the tribe is for the former Princess who turned into the moon" I state.

"Good to see you again, Avatar Korra." Unalaq states before looking at me, his eyes narrowing. "Good to see you too" Korra states before bowing.

"Tonraq" Unalaq states coldly. "Brother" Tonraq growls angrily.

"It's a shame the Southerners have abandoned all connections to the spirits. Even during the most hallowed times." Unalaq states as Korra, Tonraq, Tenzin and I walk through the carnival.

"I think you've forgotten that the Southern Tribe also has an esteem member apart of the spirit world" I say, my voice irritated. "I already know Avatar Korra is well the Avatar" Unalaq states, making Tonraq glare at his brother.

"I guess news doesn't travel fast" he states before going on to say "Beside Korra, Dakota has recently converted into one of the Spirit World, more especially, apart of the Moon Spirit".

"Well, I guess she'll have alot of work to do, if she wants to catch up to the legacy that is Princess Yue" Unalaq says, Korra trying to change the subject.

"I've always loved the Glacier Spirits Festival. It's fun." Korra says, a small smile on her face. However, Unalaq seemed to press on about spiritual issues.

With a scoff, I walk away from the group.
