Chapter 6:At the hospital

Minutes pasted and the ninja had finally got to Ninjago hospital.

Nya parked the bounty as near the hospital as they could. Once Nya landed Cole picked up Kai,the bucket that had Kai's skin in it,and sprinted into the hospital along with Jay,Zane,Lloyd,and Nya. When Cole stepped foot into the hospital he began shouting for doctors or a least a nurse.
Soon 2 nurses came into the lobby 1 shouted for the doctors. The doctors looked at Kai catching there immediate attention the doctors got Kai onto a bed and rolled him into the ER before 1 nurse was gone "wait! You might need this." Cole said handing the bucket that was fill with Kai's cut off skin. The nurse eyes widened "oh,ok will do the best we can" after she finished she ran back into the ER. The ninjas eyes were locked on there friend until the closing of the ER doors. Nya again began to cry into Jay's shoulder same as the rest they all began to cry. Cole sat down in one of the chairs in the lobby and looked down at the floor. Lloyd saw Cole and sat next to him "Cole are you okay?" Lloyd asked, Cole began to fight back his tears but he couldn't help it he let his tears fall down his cheeks "What kind of brother am I? If Kai screamed or shouted he wouldn't be in this mess and I could have had a chance to save him." Lloyd put his hand on Cole's back "Cole it's not your fault you didn't know this would happen." Cole looked at Lloyd in the eyes "but I was awake I heard the banging I didn't bother to see what it was now Kai is badly injured and it's all my fault." Lloyd began to hug Cole as he was rubbing his back Cole than began to cry into Lloyds shoulder "Cole you got Kai out of there" Cole stopped hugging Lloyd and smiled as he wiped away his tears "thank you" Zane walked over to Lloyd and Cole "I just hope they can help him." Zane said with a worried face "I hope so too Zane. He didn't look good when they took him in there not good at all." Cole said as he looked back down at the floor. For a second Jay stopped hugging Nya and walked over to Zane,Cole,and Lloyd "guys not to alarm y'all but what are we gunna tell Sensei?" Jay question but no one responded,Zane finally spoke "I-I don't know." Jay,Zane,and Nya sat down in one of the chairs in the lobby

At the Hospital 4 hour later
A nurse came walking into the lobby. The 5 friends immediately got on there feet anxious for news. They prayed it was good.
"Well?..." Cole questioned
"We were able to stabilize him. You got him here just in time" the nurse reported

"thank God" Jay said relief

"But I'm afraid it's not looking good he was clearly tortured. We removed the nails from his ankles,and administered antibiotics,hopefully that will stop any infection. His heart has been jolted by prolonged electrocution,so we're keeping a very close eye on that to see if it does any damage to his heart. We stitched the cuts on his face so he'll have some scars on his face they'll have maybe for the rest of his life.The the cut on his leg it hit the bone pretty badly so he'll have a broken leg for a month or 2. As for what you brought with him........we were able to sew the peaces of his skin back on so he'll have a few scars on his arm for the rest of his life. About the burnt marks we put some ice packs on them so those will heal up. And.....he lost alot of blood but he had enough for us too save him."
All the ninja were shocked as tears began to fill there eyes but they dared themselves not to cry.

"Was there anything else y'all could do?" Lloyd asked the nurse
"No,I'm so sorry we've never dealt with anything like this before,we did the best we could." The nurse said to Lloyd with a worried look on her face "But at least you'll got him here alive" the nurse said to the ninja
"Can we see him?" Nya asked
"I wouldn't recommend that,he's sleeping, once we know he's stable enough we'll move him out of Intensive Care and move him into a private room tomorrow than you can see him."

"Th-thank you,nurse" Cole said shakily
The nurse nodded "Again I'm so sorry" the nurse than walked back into the ER.
Cole sat back down, his friends looked at him like he was about to break down into tears. Jay sat by Cole and put his hand on Cole's shoulder "you guys go back to the bounty if you want too but I'm not leaving the hospital until Kai's back on his feet." Cole said as he let his tears fall from his eyes "I don't think any of us are leaving ether." Jay said as he smiled at Cole "I'm with Jay I'm not leaving until my brother is back on his feet." Nya said as she sat next to Cole, Lloyd and Zane joined in "me too I'm not leaving ether." Lloyd said "me too" Zane said also. Cole wiped away his tears "thanks guys"

A few hours pasted and ninja fell asleep in the lobby.
