It was finally Saturday, Tali's birthday, Jacey arrived as usual after school the day before with her usual bag and a bag of Tali's presents.
"Morning Tals" Jacey mumbled waking Tali up, still half asleep herself
"Mhhmmh" Tali groaned rolling over
"It's your birthday" Jacey whispered
That got Tali out of bed, laughing slightly Jacey left and went downstairs to help Ziva with Tali's breakfast pancakes
"Morning Ima" She smiled
"Morning Jace" Ziva smiled, she still got that warm fuzzy feeling each time Jacey called her that, it was amazing to think this 14 year old thought of her like a mother even though they'd only known each other for 6+ months
"Two piles of presents" Jacey asked slicing the strawberries
"One for Tali, one for Kai" Ziva smiled sadly "We'll leave them out all day then put them in the study with the rest"
"The rest"Jacey asked
"Yeah the ones from Christmas, New years and the American Girl store in Times Square" Ziva explained, the pile of presents was slowly growing but both Tali and Gibbs agreed that she was out there somewhere alive and healthy
"Oh" Jacey said completely understanding and arranging the strawberries on Tali's plate with the pancakes
Tony joint them downstairs with Gracie so Ziva brought out Tali's pancakes with three candles stuck in them, everyone sang happy birthday to her then ate their own pancakes.
"Do you want to open your presents" Tony asked
"Yeah" She giggled climbing down from the table and running into the other room
She opened her presents from Jacey first, she got her alien tsum tsums, a Stitch bow and a school set for her AG dolls
From 'Gracie' Tali got a pack of cookie cutters and a nemo tsum tsum
Then from Tony and Ziva she got AG doll #27, a full AG outfit, a AG baking set, a AG food set and some electronics AG sized.

"Thank you" Tali grinned "Can I name her Liberty"
"You can name her whatever you want" Tony smiled clearing all the paper away
"Okay" Tali smiled dressing 'Liberty' in her new outfit
"Jacey will you play with me" She asked sweetly
"Sure" Jacey smiled helping Tali pick up all her presents to take them up to the AG room
Together they went to put all the new toys away, they left the cookie cutters in the kitchen and the tsum tsums in Tali's room. Jacey put the bow in Tali's hair and everything else went the the AG room. Jacey helped Tali put everything in the right places, the baking set in the kitchen, the school equipment in one of Tali's dolls bedroom, the lunch food all in the kitchen as well and the devices scattered between all the different rooms.
"Can we play now" Tali asked
"Sure" Jacey grinned at Tali who picked up two dolls who Tali believed to be named Liberty and Grace
"Pick two dolls" Tali said setting up a scene in the living room
Jacey picked two dolls and started to get them dressed
"No" Tali yelled when she turned round
"What's wrong" Jacey asked slightly scared by Tali
"I said no" she yelled slapping Jacey across the face and snatching the dolls off her
"What's happening" Ziva asked opening the door, Tali was in tears on one side of the room and Jacey was almost against the opposite wall with her legs crossed and one cheek bright red
"Jacey touched Felicity" Tali yelled still in tears holding the doll
"Felicity" Ziva asked
"Felicity Merriman, Kai's doll" Tali said still yelling
"Did you tell her it was Kai's" Ziva asked calmly
"no" Tali mumbled
"Jacey" Ziva asked clicking her fingers in front of Jace's face, Jacey eventually made a mmhh sound to acknowledge Ziva "Go see Abba, he's downstairs with Gracie" Ziva smiled pulling Jacey to her feet, he cheek was still bright red it looked like Tali hit her pretty hard
"Come here Tals" Ziva smiled walking over to Tali, Tali slowly climbed into Ziva's lap "You can't hit your sister" Ziva whispered stroking Tali's hair
"but she took Felicity"
"Did you tell her not to take Felicity or McKenna" Ziva asked softly
"no"
"How she supposed to know" Ziva asked
*In Hebrew*
"I don't know" Tali whispered, switching to her mother tongue
"Do you think you should apologize to her" Ziva asked also switching to hebrew
"No" Tali stated crossing her arms
"Why not" Ziva asked
"Because she still took Felicity"
"She didn't know it was Kai's" Ziva said again "Why don't you tell her whats Kai's next time"
Tali just nodded
*Back to English*
"Shall we go see if she's okay" Ziva asked getting off the floor
"Okay" Tali said clinging onto Ziva's shoulder
"You need to talk to her rather than hit" Ziva added walking down the stairs
"Okay" Tali said shrugging
"Jacey" Ziva asked walking into the room
"Hey Ima" Jacey smiled pressing the ice pack Tony gave her against her cheek
"Go on Tali" Ziva nodded putting Tali on the floor and giving her a gentle but firm push in Jacey's direction
"Sorry I hit you Jay-Jay" Tali smiled, she had multiple nicknames for everyone
"It's okay" Jacey smiled, she couldn't really be angry at a 7 year old "Why did you hit me"
"You touched Kai's doll" Tali said tears coming back into her eyes
"I'm sorry" Jacey apologized "I would have put her back if you asked"
"oh" Tali mumbled
"Is anything else hers" Jacey asked pulling Tali onto her lap
"A McKenna doll, Stitch, some barbies, a lot is hers" Tali shrugged "I miss her" she added
"It's okay" Jacey smiled kissing Tali's forehead
"It's her birthday today" Tali sniffled
"We'll find her don't worry"
"It's been over a year" Tali cried
"I know, but you have me and Gracie, Ima and Abba" Jacey smiled sadly down at Tali "We'll find her you just have to wait"
"Okay" Tali mumbled
They spent the rest of the day as a family on the sofa Tony was on the far right, with Jacey next to him, Tali next to her, Ziva on the end and little Gracie was sleeping on Jacey's lap.
