It was almost Gracie's birthday, she was already turning 1! She was already walking and babbling to herself with some actual words, Tali and Jacey had decided to teach Gracie as much as they could when ever they could. They had already taught her words in Spanish and Hebrew along with the English she was learning, for a one year old she didn't stop talking. On the days Jacey was there they would read with her, Tali and Gracie would take turns picking books then Jacey would read them aloud as the two younger girls followed along. Without Jacey Tali would play games with Gracie and teach her words.
Luckily Gracie's birthday was on a Sunday so Jacey was going to be there, Gracie woke up early as if she knew it was going to be a special day.
"Morning Gracie" Jacey smiled picking Gracie out of her crib
"Jay-Jay" Gracie smiled reaching her arms up to Jacey
"That's right" Jacey grinned down at her little baby sister
Jacey helped Gracie get dressed, she was already sticking her arms and legs out at the right times and - annoyingly - pulling her socks off as soon as Jacey or Ziva would put them on her.
Jacey strapped Gracie firmly in her high chair so she couldn't run around the kitchen and get burnt while she made waffles for everyone
"Morning Tals" she smiled as Tali dragged her feet across the floor "Do you want to wake Ima and Abba" Jacey asked getting the waffles out
"Mhhmm" Tali nodded walking back up the stairs, she came back down the stairs with both Tony and Ziva behind her
"Morning Ima, Abba" Jacey smiled, she was the only cheery one there even Ziva looked like she wasn't ready to wake up yet even though she was usually up a six
"Morning" they both mumbled flopping down at the table
"Breakfast" Jacey smiled laughing at their expressions and setting their food in front of them on the table, waffles with berries and banana.
By the time everyone was finished it was gone nine and they where all awake happily listening to Tali talk about a book Jacey was reading with her, as soon as she finished talking she asked if Gracie could open her presents which Ziva agreed to and let Gracie down from her high chair.
"What can we give her first" Tali asked racing into the room ahead of everyone
"How about this one" Ziva sighed sitting down, she was still way too tired for Tali's hyperness
Gracie opened her presents one by one, first the tea set, then the cupcakes, the water blocks, the elephant and the supergirl/man bottle. She only had one left, Tali gave her the last present, between Tali, Gracie and Jacey they got the present open and the dolls out the box.
"Look Gracie" Tali beamed "This is me" she pointed to the first doll
"Li" Gracie grinned
"And this is Kaida"
"Ida" Gracie pointed, Li and Ida where her nicknames for Tali and Kai, she could say Tali and Kai but she preferred calling them Li and Ida
