Yes I tried no, nope, no, no, no.

Now I'm at the prison. I always end up here. This time I'm inside on my way to see Mickey.

I sit and take a shaky breath on one side of the glass waiting for him. All i can picture is them making out and his hand going up here skirt. That asshole I think as my eyes tear up and squeeze the phone thats already at my ear.

"Gallagher?" His rough confused voice breaks my thoughts.

"Mick." I breath out looking at him.

His hair has grown just to half way down his ears. His pale fingers run through it and it goes back almost looks like he got gel. His arms look tight against the orange cuffed shirt.

"Thought you weren't coming back." 

"Neither did I. I'm changing some stuff, but whenever I'm upset I end up here."

"You don't visit." he mutters dryly. 

I look into his eyes but quickly look down so I don't cry.

"What's his name?" Mickey grumbles.

"Caleb."

"South Side?"

"No."

"Job?"

"EMT."

"Your Job?"

"EMT."

"He good?"

"Was."

"What did he do?" Mickey glares at me until I respond.

"Thinks it's normal to bang chicks."

"A gay guy?" 

I nod.

"While you dated?"

"Yeah."

"So your single?"

"Yeah."

"Don't let rich bitches hurt you Firecrotch."

I smile but then say, "It hurts Mick."

He puts his hand on the glass and out of reflex I match mine to his.

"It's gonna be okay. You still taking your meds?"

"Had to change them up but yeah." I mumble.

"I want you to be happy Ian."

"I love you Mick." 

He pauses now only his fingertips on the glass.

"The thought of you is keeping me sane in this place, you loving me, but I don't-I don't want you to lie to me." 

"I love you Mick."

He blinks in tears," Huh love you to Carrot Top."

"Oh fuck off Milkovich."

"I love you Ian."
