I grabbed a glass of water and sat down at the empty table. I gulped down the water and heard quiet voices from the living room. I opened the kitchen door quietly and peeked into the living room. Slender was talking with a hairless creature/man. I held in a gasp, it was an ugly thing. "Now go and do not tell a soul." Slender ordered. "You have my word." The creatures voice was not human. The creature ran out the door leaving slender to sigh, even without a face I could tell he was upset. He walked up the stairs leaving me to wonder, what the hell was he talking about with that creature. I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I found a file laying next to me. I picked it up and opened it. It was a picture of me, it had all my information in it. "That's how we knew your birthday was yesterday." I jumped and looked behind me to see a smiling Vain.
